Hey, that is one beautiful, fancy and well built, outdoor kitchen. ❤ You've done an excellent job and it will last a lifetime. 👏 There's even room for company. 😉 I was watching a program several years ago on Link TV that they were cooking and baking on an outdoor oven, made the old fashioned way and I thought that's what you were up to. I'd like to have one of those someday. It's good to see you again. You and your brother do excellent work.
Well after almost 48 minutes of amazing work and perfect edits and I always learn tricks from you and dave. I really think this video is Exactly what RUclips is all about. I know how much work it is to build something like this and ALSO have to move the camera angles every time you do anything. A 2 hour job turns into 3 4 with camera work. This video was amazing and so much work. I hope it hits 1 million views and well deserved!!!
I didn’t grow up around dudes building stuff, but this blew my mind; with the right tools, I think I could do my own! Thanks a lot! This is what RUclips was made for ;)
A well right there would be great. That said, you may just want to add gutters and a rainwater capture system to get additional utility from that new roof. There are a number of ways to customize that sort of setup and you seem clever enough to customize one to your specific needs. Great build and video by the way. I really appreciate the simple and straightforward approach on this.
Really nice build, later you can always make some one by frames with screen and use wing nuts with male wood to male machine thread screws so you can put them up in the summer and take um down in the winter. Keep those skeeters out while you enjoy your relax time in summer. Thanks again .
I remember seeing the video when you first built that grill out there, I was like what the hell! it's in the bushes but i get it now. Super nice job i see you are very patient, my drawback on building things!
Thanks !! I actually really liked it without the building too , it was the maple tree over it that made it nice and shady , but it sure is nicer with a flat floor and a roof and lights .
Excellent job on the pavilion Ryan! You're building skills and knowledge is top notch. It will be really nice in the snowy and rainy weather. Todd from da U.P.
Michigan ?? First timer here. The moment I saw you driving an iron stake,,, the trees in the back ground,, I have built pavilions for the Boy Scouts , Cole Canoe Base, Rifle River. You don't need it now,, but what I learned about pavilions,, BS build them rather large sometimes. 40X 80.. as much as 10 feet to truss bottoms.. I spread the post bases, just a bit. For an 40 X 80,,, 6x6 posts, theoutside bottom layout for the posts will be 40' and 4" X 80' and 4" The slight inward lean on the posts in un-noticable, But adds wind resistance and stability far exceeding just 45 corner bracing. Always wanted to build one with a strong inward lean,, 10 degrees or so. Make it an architectural feature.
Fantastic journey you brought us along for. My first time watching your content and I really enjoyed seeing how you went about dealing with the different aspects of the task. The end result looks amazing. Peace.
Great job Ryan l like how you started out putting the trusses on the structure first upside down. Common sense and skill goes a long ways my friend...it turned out looking really nice my friend.. there's nothing like hearing the rain hitting the metal roof while having a cookout!!👍
That is some nice work. About the only change I would make would be to char all the wood in ground/ concrete contact to keep the rot, moisture and termites out. You used pressure treated in sandy ground so that will last you as long as you could wish.
Yep doing Anything Right means it will be more time consuming AND more expensive. Respect to " Mr Spruce" for demonstrating that and his determination to DOING IT RIGHT! I have a friend who made a very good living building decks, docks over water, pavilions etc and he was initially the most expensive service in the area but always right or if not right he'd fix any mistake at no additional charge. Within a few months of starting his business he became THE Contractor for this kind of work and he lead that community till he retired, still the highest $$$$$ but Definitely the BEST> A lesson many contractors will probably Never Learn.
Thanks !! I guess I could . its actually for my little cabin here's a link to that build if you want to check it outruclips.net/video/9p169VHPE9s/видео.html

Thank you very much , I'm really happy you are enjoying them !! I have another build probably about 80 percent finished so hopefully I'll be posting that video within a couple weeks
Nice work. I have some remote land in Florida with a dirt driveway to a small clearing I cut surrounded heavy thick natural tree cover. The only thing in that clearing is an 8x8 lean-to with with 2 counter height walls and counters like yours and a built in couch/bed on the back wall. I back my van up to it and when I open my rear doors to seal the front. My van has a 240AH lithium house battery that powers a TV, microwave, air fryer and 12v fridge for days. I've seen all kinds of wildlife including bears, wild pigs and panthers it's cozy to be enclosed. Planning to screen it in to stop the mosquitos.

Man I loved your idea of pre-drilling all your roofing holes at one time. This was perfect timing for me because I'm about to build a cover for my tractor. Great video
Thanks !! I can't take credit for that I actually learned that when I helped my brother do a roof on his place in2003 but it does work really well. hope you have a great ti me building your tractor shed
Your outside kitchen project is very similar and about twice as big with electrical goodies than my project. Only three things come to mind that I will do differently. #1. Is add siding about three feet high around it to keep rain water from splashing inside. #2 I think I would only install one air vent going out of the side. I could be inspired to add another vent via a hood again out of the side as this is open air and a fan can be used. #3 I will screen mine in like my patio to keep flying critters out. Especially misquotes. I think you did GREAT.
Love it. I will build one outdoor grill/oven. We call it a Dirty Kitchen in the Philippines. Our method here is to build foundations on stone slabs and make sure the logs are above the ground. At least in rural areas where concrete is not common back then. The reason is to avoid the wood logs getting soaked wet during rainy days (we have rains all year round).
If I had an outdoor kitchen that nice I'd have an excuse for putting on a few pounds. Always nice to have Dave show up, he needs one of these in the UP.. maybe add some screens for his. I think your water ideas are solid, keep it simple outside. Too many things that can freeze/crack over the winter.
I’m an architectural drafter and I feel like I definitely learned some things from this video. I always try to consider how to make things buildable as I don’t have much construction experience myself.

Really enjoy your videos... I'm commenting because I immediately missed my brothers (Cancer and Heart) ... when your brother stopped by to assist. 😊 Take care!
Awesome job. Love all the creative thinking. Not a big deal in this setup but the male end of chimney pipes should always face down to allow the creosote to drip down inside the pipe and flow back to the fire source rather than run outside the pipe. Very important in a cabin where you sleep.
Another great project well-done, Ryan :) And the four footed helpers are always welcome during breaks! (And Brothers can always lighten the load :) Good to see you both ... enjoyed watching this build. See you down the road ... God Bless you and yours P.S. Great video young man ! I learned alot from it for my future outside kitchen build...thank you
Thanks glad to help !
That hood over your stove is da 💣. This would make a great canning kitchen with the addition of a sink.
Thanks !! That would be a good idea !
That is one awesome build. Your attention to detail is above and beyond. Love your channel. Thanks for another video. Take care.
Thanks you too!!
I like your idea of using your rototiller for leveling the ground. Saves you money.
Yeah it works pretty good . I did half my back yard at my last house . that got pretty old lol
Great build. I love the finished result. You have a great combination of straightforward, practical, and aesthetically pleasing. And you didn't even recommend we give the chainsaw a whirl. :)
Thanks !! I think thats kinda my specialty simple ,practical , yet nice looking . I don't know that I would recommend that saw . I like it a lot more than I did at first but there's definitely more powerful saws in the battery world than this one . I do like that its quiet though
Great video. I will never get tired of your content!
thanks !! and that is great to hear !
Woow what a talented and smart man you are 👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😀
Sitting on the little balcony watching this vid on an iPad is so much better than sitting inside watching a movie on the 65”. Well done.
