Brings tears to my eyes every time I listen...I saw him in Atlantic City, NJ in the 1990s, I was hired as an usher for that performance...simply stunning. Needless to say, all I did was stand there and listen to one of the greatest voices of my lifetime.
Nice. I saw him perform in Reno Nevada not long before he passed, and it was amazing. A friend of mine was a ringer of a woodwind player & was in the orchestra that night, so I got free tickets from him. He only sang for about an hour or so, but it was a rush just to be in the same room with him.
