Being a cyclist and an EV owner and previous ICE owner, it just stuns me that one of the biggest benefits from an EV and one that isn’t talked about enough, is that ur car isn’t poisoning future generations that are getting pushed along the road side in prams by the exhaust fumes at pram level
I had a baby last year and also found myself gagging when I smelt exhaust fumes during pregnancy. We bought a PS2 and it's been great for our little family.
Just do it. There are so many reasons to do it. This little car and the owner shows that you don't always need a car with 500km range. Look at what your real needs are and then look around. I got a Model Y as I'm a tech geek. But your actual needs and wants will determine what you choose. Go and do it and enjoy.
check resale before you do and also crosscheck to make sure the lithium and cobalt in your car is sustainably sourced. Lots of misinformation and grifters abound the e world right now, isn't there Sarah!?

Great episode, I think as EVs become more prevalent people will start to wonder how they put up with the toxic smell of ICE cars.

@@WHDRWNWhy get hung up about resale value? It's immaterial after keeping a car for about 10 years, which is a typical ownership period.
@@guringai From land cruisers to Corvettes there are so many cars these days that are worth more than retail after ten years.

my new neighbours have a V8 and leave for work at 07:05 hrs after idling the car for 10 minutes. The noise vibrates my bed and my body.
