As I often do, I have started my day listening to a Lakota Chant; your beautiful versions of these ageold sacred chants always touch my heart.
    Pilamayaye.
I don't need to have a drop of First Nation or indeed Lakota blood in my veins in order to understand, honour and respect the meaning of these chants.
    To those unhappy about Non-Lakota
adopting your chants and your teachings...What happened to 'Mitakuye Oyasin'? We're your Relations, too.
Love and blessings to ALL OF CREATION. 🤗💚🌻

Thank you so much for your comment, and yes it's good to remember that from a certain point of view of the spirit separation is an illusion, we are all leaves from the same trunk

Y’all trippin smh we don’t sing those songs just to be singing them, we don’t record them just to record and share, I don’t mind hearing non Lakota singing our songs but this has me disgusted smh

I've heard lakota's way of passing way their music as a way to live forever with their stories. It's to say recording it isnt what your supposed to do. But it's a great way of keeping the history alive for as long as possible

Yes, we have to adapt to contemporary means, but you're right, for example, the outrageous use of spoken language has caused us to lose the use of telepathy as practised by many early peoples, so we have to remain cautious and aware!

If the songs don't come from your people, DO NOT think you have some right to record and share them as such. Our songs have a purpose and meaning greater than your foreign mind will ever understand, OUR songs are not meant to be profited off of by a FOREIGNER.

My brother, we all come from Africa, have explored the lands of our planet, and the pigmentation of the skins have adapted to the climates.
It is normal to share our discoveries, experiences and "traditions". The notion of strangers naturally fades away, we are all one big family ;)
Moreover, according to the theory of reincarnation, the origin of the birth would be only a big game of souls ;)
What we carry at "Marche ta parole" is legitimately derived from the teaching transmitted directly by Archie Fire Lame Deer in France.
      Peace 🙏

Maybe your people come from Africa. But our people come from the Black hills! Don’t think you can name drop a medicine man who was PAID to Go and exploit the ways. I know how RUclips works and that this video is monetized. If you weren’t a stranger you wouldn’t be making money off of our sacred songs that you know nothing about.
