  • Well, people keep asking me why I haven;t been in the other park here at Disneyland Paris, so I thought to myself, "Self?" I said, "Why don't we take everyone to the park today and SHOW THEM THE ENTIRE THING!"
    Come along as we take a walk around what might be Disney's smallest weirdest theme park, Walt Disney Studios

    Strange little park...it's like if DCA and MGM had a weird hybrid baby and the godparents were Aerosmith weeeird!

    Walt disney studios park is more of of the thrill ride area (its home to crushes coaster, Hollywood tower of terror and rockin' rollercoaster) ;whereas dlp (disneyland paris) is more of the 'kids' land (its full of walkthroughs and darkrides).

      Also theres an umbrella in the studios park where if you stand under it will rain on top of it (as a reference to singin' in the rain).

    I'm french and i went to this park 2 months ago and i agree with a few comments on here, this park doesn't feel like Disney !!! That was so weird and the studio tour is so boring ... Nothing to see here. Can't wait to go back in Anaheim in April.

    Toy Story Playland looks super cute. Also, the little Cars ride in this park reminds me of Francis' Ladybug Boogie in DCA, since the ride vehicles spin around while traveling in a figure eight pattern.

    The Language thing at tower of terror is true they have both languages but to me it seems like the cast members exactly take a look during the safty procedures if the majority understands english or french and then they put the ride in the language :D Also the Pre-Show has 2 Language but the language is random choosen by the guy that moves the peeps to the library as you may recognize during entrance to the library and boarding to the rides there are flashing blue buttons and if the cast member press this button the ride / show will be in english ~Greets from Germany

    I wish you could have visited the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park in it's "glory" days back in the early 90's up to the opening of Sunset Blvd. When the park was a functioning production studio it really was something special. Though the changes that are coming to DHS are going to be great it still is not going to match the original concept of the park. It's very cool you got to visit Paris again, the only bummer is that you were gone while the Tim and Jenn Trackers were in SoCal. Keep up the great work!

I visited Hollywood a few years ago and went to Warner Bros, Paramount and Universal and when I researched Disney I couldn't find any reference to a tour. As soon as you pointed out the license plate and mentioned the year. Notice how the license plate says “512 WED 1901”. I had to pause the video and looked up Walter Elias Disney. Just like you said in the video “Walter Elias Disney born in 1901.” I was talking to my dad after I looked it up. He told me that in Europe they write the date first then the month and last the year. Therefore “512” represents December 5. When I looked up Walt Disney it “Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901.”

      I think the problem with World Showcase is it offers a cool glimpse into different cultures, but doesn't have enough attractions. Otherwise it's just a mere recreation, without something unique, there is little interest to people that have seen the real thing. Hollywood and California work better as a theme because they easily translate to attractions.

    This place is dreary and is definitely meant for the French. It almost doesn't feel like a Disney park.
    And yes, the one's in the US are the best because they are the originals. And that is not hating, its just truth.
    A good comparison is saying that French wine is better than wine made in the US. Its just the truth.

    • @MowglyJungleKing
      @MowglyJungleKing 7 лет назад +4

      You can't say it's better, it's different. There are non-French wines that are better than French wines. I've been to Disneyland Resort and it's not better or worse, just different. Both are great, you can prefer one but you can't say it's better.

    Justin did you notice the way you transitioned from Toy Story to Ratatouille through the monkey barrel? May not be intentional, but it reminded me of the sewer system that Remy goes through in the film. You get a pov of the story. Also it's harmonious with the scale factor from being a toy to a rat. Subtle but effective. Never been there so thanks for providing the means via your uber entertaining vlog!

    I'd actually say, that the bumbing into people and respecting strangers intimate space, is a thing of the Disney Parks in Paris, not a general European thing... I'm from Denmark, and always remember my times at Disneyland Paris as rally great - except a lot of people seeming pretty rude, without consideration of other people personal space or understanding of queue-culture etc. It's a lot more a weird park culture thing, than European... I think...

  • @laberblah7241
    @laberblah7241 6 лет назад

    I'm returning to DLP in less than 4 weeks for the first time after 25 Years. So in preparation to that I'm watching all your DLP videos (and others) but I pretty like especially yours as most vlogs about DLP are from european people. Don't get me wrong, I like europeans, I am from germany by myself. But sometimes it's really nice to get a view on us from people that are not originated here. But I cannot really tell you why it is that people come closer to you than they do in the us. But yes, I also observe sometimes that people are heading for the straightest way to reach their targetm regardless what's between them and the target. But I am used to live with that since ever so I've learned to ignore that most of the time. So in other videos you also complained about the backpushing in cues. Yes that's annoying but it brings me to the point why I wanted to write this comment. Well it's more a hint. The backpushing is not limited to human cues. So if you ever have to use a car in paris make sure you remind some things:
    - use an old care you don't love where you do not care about scratches.
    - be aware that a lot of people see red traffic lights as recommendation rather than as an order.
    - when parking, do not tighten any breaks, put the gear out. Be aware, that if there are 2 inches of room in front of your car and the one that wants to park behind you needs those two inches, your car gets pushed forward by the other car. Do the same to the cars in front and behind of you to get your car out of the parking lot later.
    Anyways, I am looking forward to have you back in europe once.
