The behind the scene series of their's is called From the Vault (I'm sure you've been told about a million times😊) but if you watch them you'll laugh a bunch and wonder how any videos EVER get filmed. It's like watching five out of control kids on a sugar high. Have a great weekend guys. Thanks for another great Home Friday.
Some trivia: This was filmed couple years before Chance and Sami (HF's photographer) were engaged. I had read that this was filmed at Rob's home. Thanks for another HF reaction!
I remember watching Sawyer Brown win Star Search eons ago. There's a video floating around RUclips of HF & SB backstage at the Opry singing this song together (obviously they hadn't practiced together). Sawyer Brown was ready to steal Adam after the jam session!
Brenda, I remember when Sawyer Brown won Star Search as well, and I’ve always loved this song. I came to the comments to mention that Opry video as well….it was so much fun to watch both groups try to sing it together without rehearsals with SB used to their instruments and HF used to their vocal “filler”. I’m going to have to try to find that video now!❤
During the replays of Adam's beatboxing, did you notice the side of his neck?? Holy cow😲 I really enjoy your reactions, thank you Jillian and Jeremy ❤❤ Lorie, you rock ❤❤
In photography, you'd call that dimensionality "depth of field." Home Free must sing in a sphere! Love your discussion of lyrics and of panning. This is another of HF's simple-but-complex arrangements. Love it. Thanks to Laurie for the requests today.
Yet another song that I didn't pay attention to when the original came out but I'm addicted to the Home Free cover. Thanks for the Home Free reactions. I'd love to see you both start to react to the " From the Vault " behind the scenes videos they have released.
They actually have a choreographer, Kristin Dennehy, who choreographed all The Sing-Off opening numbers. They mention her during the outro of Blue Ain't Your Color, and she shows up in some of their non-music videos trying to get them coordinated.
@@nancyholter5646 You'd think! But I do know a lot of awesome singers who can't walk and chew gum. It's a different area of intelligence -- a kind of physical intelligence -- plus visualization -- how is this going to look to the audience, does it fit the song, etc. A lot of group choreo is pretty basic, but the magic happens when you get a whole group moving together as one. Think about a kick line or a line dance. Nothing to it, but it looks impressive in a group. Of course, most of the choreo she does for concerts is a lot of getting them moving to different parts of the stage so the audience gets to see all the guys, but there is a little bit of actual choreo in there.
What a great cover & upgrade over an original. Glad Jeremy picked up on Chance's low drop at near the end....that boy can go pretty dang low. I have seen them do this twice in person, and Chance killed it both times
Yep, in the back part of my ears! I found it interesting that Adam needed the whole porch to do his drumming. Love this song so much!! Thanks, Lorie, for making this happen today. And thanks, Jeremy and Jillian, for an upbeat FrYDay!!! #HomeFree

I really like Home Free's cover of this catchy song. Chance does a great job taking the lead. Cute seeing his fiancée (now wife) in this one. Adam's beatboxing is awesome in this one as usual. And the rest of the guys in the background rounding it out with their harmonies.

Trivia for this one…The blue truck that Austin drove up in is actually his truck. The guys have someone who works with them on choreography. Thanks, Jeremy and Jillian!
Kristin Denehey (sp?) has been their choreographer since The Sing Off…she choreographed all the numbers for the TV show and has designed all of Home Free’s stage movements for their live shows ever since. However the videos are “choreographed”/directed by the video team. I’m sure some of the things Kristen teaches them find their way into the videos, but she’s not involved with the videos (to the best of my knowledge).

Sawyer Brown's original was the jam when he first hit the scene with it. Sawyer def had - and after hearing his new stuff he still has - some serious energy to him and his music. I love that the HF guys grabbed this one and put their take on it because I can still go in and love Sawyer's version and the Home Free version, like I have with every song HF has put out that's a cover.
Jeremy did the "arm" thing in the beginning, though, lol, so I feel like he kind of knew where this was song was going. I really appreciate the analysis that you both concentrated on of Tim's voice panning from left to right (or right to left) and then Austin in the middle.
