  • Xaver Varnus started a new life in a unique place. He bought a more than 170-year-old church just a few meters from the Atlantic ocean and saved from destruction. Of course, Xaver did not move into the church, but rather into the building built next to it. This church was built in 1847 and has been home to three congregations over the course of its existence. The congregation unfortunately has gone extinct. The organ virtuoso found the building for sale when an entrepreneur had already showed interest in turning the old church into a brewery. The few remaining members of the congregation are grateful that their beloved building will serve a higher purpose in its life for decades to come. One thing was missing from the beautiful church was an organ. Xaver had an longstanding desire to have a building in which he could set up a large concert organ. He was able to buy a three thousand-pipe concert organ in wonderful condition. The organ which is one third of the size of the famous organ at the Palace of Arts in Budapest. Experts have been working intently on relocation of the organ for weeks. Xaver Varnus plans to have musical and literary performances in his church after the pandemic is over, where he will invite his artist friends from all over the world to perform.

Legalább itt, a RUclips-on szeretném, ha megosztaná velünk!
Azt meg nagyon becsülöm, hogy megmentette, nem lett kocsma az Isten házából! 👍❤️👍 Jó egészséget, további boldog életet kívánok Művész Úr! 😍👍😍

Congraticulations on the buying of this church and the organ! Interesting to see them install it 🙂 Respect for that man working on the 200 unlabeled wires at 6:15 😅 Looking forward to the inaugural online concert, will put it in my calendar 🙂

I guess it is a Casavant from the late 1960s or early 1970s? Neo-baroque with electro-pneumatic action. Congratulations on your concert hall! Would be interesting to visit! I have never been to Atlantic Canada. Best wishes! William Gaskarth, Calgary, AB
