Like it was okay for the OT because of the limited technology and maybe they did go a bit overboard with the CGI in the prequels but holy shit real sets were so over the top in this trilogy i actually wish the would at least give us Coroscant or Naboo. Tired of all the planets looking like something you would see on earth
Jimb0 been saying that. OT fans ruin everything and they managed to ruin this trilogy. The "final chapter" was so unsatisfying. Like why couldnt we get more jedi? Why couldnt finn and/or poe be jedis? Why did they have to end up as boring normal people (well finn is confirmed force sensitive which infuriates me more since that shouldve been from the get go)

Guys just stop attacking people for liking an actual good trilogy. Prequels weren't the best because what made the OT great didn't help the prequels but Ep 3 was good. Anyway also making everyone a Jedi is kinda stupid. Don't claim to be a fan and ignore the Chosen One prophecy. The only way to bring balance to the force is destroy the Jedi and the Sith. So adding more Jedi makes the galaxy unbalanced. Read up on the history man.

And there were tons and tons of people , people off the street all around watching them act. And they acted like nothing. Thats why only certain people can do it.

junkypup I was on set for a “professional” movie production. For legal sake I can’t say, but when it was a solo scene for the ‘actor’ there was at least a solid 50 watching him/her during that scene. There’s like 8 people on sound. 12 on camera, multiple directors, loss of costume people. And most importantly, scene viewers. These people make sure that everything is the same as the last scene used so when the cameras move or cut, there’s no jumps. That changes in editing though
Never thought about this before, but no matter how good the actors are, you can always clearly hear and see the difference between the actual movie shots and the behind-the-scenes shots. The voices, laughter - even the facial expressions are much more natural and vibrant when the camera is not rolling. That goofing and laughing at 3:16 - you would never get that in the movie itself even if it was scripted.

Scott Hastings In my opinion I really don’t like the new characters they were pushed at us to quickly without an explanation like in episode one phantom menace we got to see more of a backstory at the beginning but we just get Rey as an adult
Ghost1009684 but then whole point was for her to find herself, giving us a backstory on Rey wouldn’t resulted in the 3 films having to be based on something completely different. But we all have our opinions, however there are some starwars fans out there who are very toxic and if it’s not like the episodes 4/5/6 it’s not god enough

There's so much hate for this movie I was prepared to be really disappointed when I went in to the cinema. I actually really enjoyed it. Yes, there were a few plot points that didn't sit right and a lot of conveniences, but overall I had fun.

@@evelynneclipse2069 yes, without spoiling anything for others, for me the whole saga was about not being scared of who you are and being proud, therefore what a certain character says at the end didn't make sense to me. I would have said choosing to embrace that name and using it for a force for good would have been a final nail in the coffin to that bad character.

I'm so happy that this Disney SJW identity politics agenda trilogy finally ends!!!!!! It makes me sad but not in a way most people would think.
It makes me sad because this trilogy had so much potential to tie the whole 9 Films together and to make it forever unforgettable BUT NOW, after seeing what Disney, Kathleen "clueless" Kennedy, JJ Abrams and Ruin "roundhead" Johnson have made out of it, I'm forced to say that I'm very happy that this "finally" ends for good. I wish I could say something different, something like YESSSS, that trilogy blends everything together and completes the whole legacy for now and forever but NO.........it's Disney, NO they screwed it up, they use Star Wars as a platform to deliver their social justice warrior feminist leftist agenda. In my opinion, the real life problems and real life politics should stay in the real life, there is no place and no need to ruin a Space soap, SciFi Film or fantasy tale or what ever you wanna call it. Star Wars is a whole world created for us to, if you want escape the real life for some time and dive into a world where everything is cool. When i want to see and hear real life problems and politic opinions i watch the news on TV or a documentary about one of the many wars we had so far on our planet. Movie was so beautiful I can’t ever bring myself to not like it. When I watched it in theater everyone felt so connected and the reactions and love in the theater was a life changing experience. Before ep 9 I haven’t really watched Star Wars in a while but that movie brang back my love for the franchise and I’ll forever appreciate it

Star wars is about family and like any family we’re about to pass the worst fight we’ve had, the mandalorian, star wars the fallen order, a new trilogy under kevin feige(maybe), there’s a sense of hope that we all lost since last jedi. She threw out a director who had many ideas for Luke because she wanted Luke's legacy destroyed. Then the criticism came and when Anakin and Luke were finally included in TROS, to make things right with the fans, she single handedly made sure both of them got minor irrelevant roles because the story had to be about Rey and Rey alone. It's a very sad day for the true Star Wars fans. My prediction: the Box opening will be great, but after just a few weeks the movie will die a silent death. Go women! Go men! Both can be equally great. But the force isn't female or male.

A very special thing to notice is that Anthony Daniels the man who played threepio had stuck around since day one in the 1970s when the first film was made, he is the reason why c-3po is the very special and iconic character as we know him. A good thing they generally kept c3po around because he is a resemblance of the past. Love him, and there is also a book Anthony Daniels where he tells his story of beeing part of all the shooting throughout all the years, the ups and downs and all the effects the star wars saga has had on the world. The book is called: "I am C-3po - an inside story"

there will be people who like this movie. Despite the corporate manipulation and the anger that TLJ has built up, i think im gonna be one of them.
I do not support corporations, but i support the crew and their best efforts to make it into something.
There is nothing worse than a lazy movie and the new starwars movies are anything but that. Even if the movie sucks and is as bad as leaks calim it to be, im gonna enjoy it like i enjoy phantom menace and attack of the clones.
Starwars is one of the few franchises that make me feel like a child again :)
Except the prequels were made because of passion and Lucas wanting to expand the Star Wars universe, not taking anything from it. Disney made their sequels because they knew it would make money, and in the process killed the entire EU, and they dared to say that they don't have any material to work with. They didn't want to be creative and make a story where the EU is canon, so they just deleted it.

Well, I love the actors and they definitely have the look, the atmosphere, and effects down, but the writing in TLJ was such a big let down. The way they crapped on the Luke character was a huge disappointment. Will they be able repair the damage they did? I have my doubts.
