Kevin Kelly in AWA was a force and had potential to be a star in the business for a long time. I felt that his time off prior to going to the WWF in "92" took a toll on him as he wasn't as sharp when he was in the AWA. In the AWA, he had good mic skills, for a big man, he can move, good grappling skills and pretty mindful in the ring.
@@tonyibraham5931 bro I was just telling you about this last week? I’m thinking you really need to lay off the beer, you’re starting to lose it and I’m beginning to worry.

My favorite thing about all this, that I've heard from a couple different sources (who knows what's true? Of course); while taking the stand in court to testify, Vince's defense lawyer asks him: "Do you have any animosity towards Vince McMahon?" NailZ: "No" Lawyer: "Do you hate Vince McMahon?" Yeah the attorney or judge literally says: “I don’t think he knows what animosity means” which goes to: “Do you hate Vince” guy looked not just like an asshole but showed the world he was a moron too. His testimony actually made things worse for the prosecution.
The problem with the Nailz ex-con gimmick, is that it only really worked for his angle with the Big Boss Man. Once that angle was finished, there was very little that the writers could do with the Nailz character. Hence, his pay was unsatisfactory to him. Understandably, Nailz was rather pissed off that other guys on the roster were getting paid substantially more than he was. Kamala was also one of lowest paid guys in the company at the time. Best wrestling channel on RUclips. Can't even think of a close second. Unless Simon Miller goes into business for himself 🤔
You pretty much nail'd it...he was an interesting character!
I remember all of this. I remember wondering what happened to nailz vs undertaker when I was young. Good times.
I love this channel, definitely on the top of my list of favorite RUclips channels.
Great job on this bios man
THIS......is going to be 🔥🔥🔥...I was scared to death of this cat growing up. I feared for Jesse's life at the time 😂😂😂😂
Who's Jesse?
@@gqloc6768 big boss man
@@Tre_Ason_Number7 - His real name is Ray Traylor. Now apologize!
@@gqloc6768 oh... whatever.
I ate this story line up when I was a kid, Nailz was terrifying and I couldn't wait for someone to get him back.
Nailz always reminded me of a psychotic Jeff Daniels
Another awesome upload from the greatest wrestling channel on the planet!
If the producers of "Darkside Of The Ring " didn't do a documentary on this story, they should have IJS.
10:04 ..... i don't care what anyone says, in my own opinion that was one of the best face off spots ever, just well done by taker and nailz
