Honestly, seeing everyone cheering for the Muppet performers as themselves, is rather heartwarming. That was an epic performance, and they completely deserve it.
If only Jim could have seen this. He'd be amazed to see how much joy his creations still bring to us. He may be gone but the Muppets will always be with us. RIP Jim Henson. Thank you for creating these amazing characters.
Honestly, the whole idea of doing a live show with actual puppets in an absolutely massive venue like this is bonkers, and very much a Jim idea in itself. The Muppets did have a live show in the 80s, but it was never performed in a venue like this, and used life size costume characters like Sesame Street Live. I mean, people tend to get dwarfed on a stage like this, and they are working with tiny puppets!

Honestly, I don’t think it could. The muppet performers do not use understudies, and most of them have other commitments, so this is very much a once in a blue moon thing. If they ever decide to revive the Muppet Show, I really hope they do an intro similar to the one shown here.. and perhaps have Statler and Waldorf deliver a classic zinger after the audience asks “why don’t you get things started?”
That parody of Bohemian Rhapsody was pretty good. I say "parody" because, even though a lot of the words were the same as the original, there were still some that were changed.

@@SecondValveSteam Now that you mention it, it does look like Tim Lagasse operating the puppet. The only puppeteers I recognise are Ryan Dillon (Nigel), Tim Lagasse (Old Tom), Allan Trautman (Miss Poogy) and John Kennedy (Pops). I knew it wouldn’t be Eric as he came on seconds later with Piggy and wouldn’t have time to switch.

Just one thing...
BRING BACK STEVE!!!!!
Shilo Mifsud and frank oz
be good if frank oz returned then he could perform his characters and eric jacbson can perform them to when the characters interact
I love the Muppets also and Jim Henson my favorite Muppet is beaker want me to do my beaker impression me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me mo mo
@@shilomifsud9836
It would be nice if Frank Oz came back to perform with the Muppets. If not for him retiring from playing Fozzie, Sam Eagle, Animal, Marvin Suggs, and Miss Piggy. Eric does a fine job as those characters, but Frank will forever be the OG puppeteer of those characters to me.
@@sageturmelle true he'd love to come back but Disney and sesame dont want him back
That is soo cool they got dr.who
Fits - the muppets have been on life support for years
I hope they eventually come to Missouri.
Powerranger6342 I’m from the future. They never came here. Which is bullshit. It should have toured so the rest of the states could see the show
They have to put these in Disney plus
If they ever decide to revive the Muppet Show, I really hope they do an intro similar to the one shown here.. and perhaps have Statler and Waldorf deliver a classic zinger after the audience asks “why don’t you get things started?”
That parody of Bohemian Rhapsody was pretty good. I say "parody" because, even though a lot of the words were the same as the original, there were still some that were changed.
I still miss David Tennant being the Doctor on Doctor Who. No offense but he was the best one yet, for the entire Doctor Who series.
Amanda Carey No. Six words: could he have done Heaven Sent?
David was great but I loved Peter capaldi more
shout outs to the guy who did the subtitiles and managed to scry out the swedish chefs not swedish i would of actually died
Nice to see them do something different with the Parade of Obscure Muppets by putting Muppets who weren't in the segement the first time around though i do wish Angel Marie was part of the Obscure Muppets Parade.
Does anyone know who the performer who assisted with puppeteering Old Tom was? It almost looks like Eric Jacobson that's operating the puppet
Sage Turmelle I think it’s Tim Lagasse.
@@SecondValveSteam
Now that you mention it, it does look like Tim Lagasse operating the puppet. If only we knew who Beautiful Day Monster's performer was though it seems likely that it's another additional Muppeteer assisting with the puppeteering of the character while another puppeteer assists with the waving hand gestures.
@@SecondValveSteam
Karen Prell did the puppeteering for Marvin Suggs here apparently.
1:41-1:46 It’s The Muppets Take The O2 With Out Very Special Guest Star Bobby Moynihan!
1:47-1:49 Kermit Goes YAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!
I KNOW CARMAR OSBAR THAT WHO PLAY ROSITA FROM SESAME STREET PETER LINDZ WHO PLAY ERNIE FROM SESAME STREET AND DAVID RUDMAN A. K. A. COOKIE MONSTER FROM SESAME STREET
I want them to come to Pennsylvania. This is my dream
Same...
Altho they will never come to Canada
23:40 my favorite song
That was so catchy
What if Kermit taught Starlight Glimmer to dance in his number Happy Feet in the Equestria Girls and Muppets crossover
23:31 the catchiest Muppet song ever
Matt Vogel needs to work on his Kermit voice it sounds alot like Constantine
They could've at least let Steve do these Last two events then look for replacements
@@tinagemcgee6190
Or have Peter Linz take over as Kermit (He's the current performer for Ernie so how he's not the current performer for Kermit is beyond me. Not only would it make more sense, but it would save Matt Vogel the trouble of having to puppeteer both Kermit and Constantine at the same time when they're in the same scene.)
Kind of does a little bit to me
@@sageturmelle What if Linz actually voiced ALL of Whitmire's puppets?
Probably because Peter does Walter.
Whoa! Beautiful Day Monster? I didn't think that he would actually be part of it at all. I actually thought that he was permanently retired for real. Shocking and surprisingly, isn't it?
I'm excited walter is in there
Just here for 35:31
Also, 36:08 OH! I had no idea "Snail" and "Raccoon" were involved in something together before The Masked Singer!
Y'know, Vogel doesn't do a bad Kermit; he's the one who gave me the idea for the future voice of the Cat in the Hat!!🐱🧢
I was actually there and this is giving me a lot of nostalgia
