Ethan is such an amazing producer and artist, but we all see Alice as the face and image of it. She is a great performer and I will always be a fan of her, but Ethan could make anyone sound good, evident from the stuff he has produced post-Alice.

I've accepted the fact that this girl has replaced Glass, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the new songs so far. Im excited to see if this chick is gonna thrash the way Alice did as far as songs that focus more on vocals. So far she's doing great!

As someone said before and now I realize that it's true. Ethan is CC itself. I love Alice and I felt very sad about her quitting from CC, but the band's atmosphere didn't change a thing without her. Even if they change the singer again everything will be just fine as it was before cause Ethan is everything on CC. But I miss the stage presence and everything else about Alice, they had a chemical bind. I will ALWAYS admire them for the rest of my life, they both became party of it.

I have all the respect for Alice for releasing it and speaking about her abuse (which I highly suspect came from her bandmate. I personally like the more than Alice Glass's new song, STILLBIRTH. her song has what sounds like old school goth industrial music with a huge modern twist but at the same it's not very experimental(not saying this is more experimental); it sounds like it could be a song used in an action movie trailer, like it would be in that live action ghost in the shell movie. but it's pretty obvious where CC's sound came from.
While this song isn't v experimental either it has that good ole "ethereal goth rave" feel that i loved so much about CC when Alice was still in it. I hope the rest of the songs on the album are a little more hype than this and the other song they put out a while ago

The new version (Their Kindness is Charade) is good too but this version really fits the title and the idea of killing a god (Deicide).
I feel like Ethan and Alice split up makes it so there music doesn't have as much of a flair...like, for some reason the new tracks that they're coming out with remind me of the more popular electronic music that was out years ago which was so antithesis to the music they used to create.
