Hey I have a HD3 of my own that I can’t seem to get to start. It only has wires from the battery to the starter and the alternator so I am confused as to why an old Diesel engine like this won’t start. I have compression and fuel and can feel it suck my hand in on the intake manifold and see the fuel smoke out of the exhaust but it simply won’t catch and run. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Have a 1942 HD3,one of 30 built.Has 2-71 detroit.
That's a nice machine you have! I have an H3 with a couple of videos posted here too.
I'd love to own one of these someday
Looks like the shuttle is a HANDY thing to have

Starters are very hard to change. Must remove the tank and then it is still difficult.
At least on the gas H3. I assume HD is the same.
Are these HD3 good tractors and what are there faults
Faults? That they aren't made anymore
