  • If your Ibis Oso loses connectivity, you may need to adjust your lower battery cradle. If the problem persists, you may need to use spacers to reposition the cradle. This video walks through both adjustments.
Please note, we have updated the hardware and torque spec for the lower battery cradle. If your bike shipped with 4mm hardware and you are having battery connectivity issues, please contact warranty@ibiscycles.com. We will ship updated hardware.
Torque for the 4mm Allen bolt head is 12 Nm
Torque for the T30 Torx or 5mm Allen bolt head is 15 Nm

My OSO has never lost batt connectivity after a year of abuse. Should I do this anyway as preventative measure? Thanks

No, this procedure is only for some frames that were manufactured slightly out of spec with regard to the battery mount
