It’s the Aberdeen chairman who should be coming under pressure for employing a man who just wanted the job to tick his silly selfish bucket list.

It’s a very competitive league. The old firm toe to toe and then everyone else scrabbling around for survival. This Aberdeen defence is too easy to penetrate in league matches. Warnock knows they need a massive clear out in the summer.

His CV speaks for itself. Loads of promotions and keeping teams in a division. Nobody is 100% successful, but the guy knows what he’s doing. Hardly surprising he gets jobs.
Like with Hodgson Warnock has proven there is shelf life on managers and not just players - his comments indicate the distress which comes with the job are for younger men. There is a poignancy the insatiable need to be involved in the game of football near enough at all personal costs. Jordan and Souness were respectful of the man like with Hodgson.
