I LOVE making these! its actually super easy making them vegan. Not sure if you may have them in US which is where i assume you live, but in canada we have betty crocker icing that is called fluffy icing/frosting that is accidentally vegan and adding some food coloring to that, and putting it on the cookies makes it taste sooo good exactly how the instore stuff tastes tbh and saves some steps of making your own icing. :) literally perfect for all seasons and events hehe. glad this came in my recommended! it makes me want to make some fall or autumn halloweeny themed ones. also when you make them, to make them more thin press down on the cookie so its more flat before baking!!! urs looked so yummyyyy i want some now.
The way you say “Aldi” is so funny to me. In Australia, our main grocery stores are Woolworths, Coles and an Aldi. I’ve come back from Aldi with a retro radio and a banana, it’s super random.

I made the cookies tonight. They turned out delicious! Almost like a sweet biscuit with strawberry jam or something. It made 10 cookies....also got my ingredients from Aldi. It’s the best.
