Always was and still is my favourite Marillion album.
Their best by far...fish's masterpiece.
Comes a close second to Misplaced Childhood for me but yeah 😉
MARILLION THE BEST IN THE WORLD #1
Ja się zgadzam......🫶👏👍🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
100%
great bass !
Uno de los mejores álbumes de su grandiosa obra.
Still my favorite Marillion song.
Clutching at Straws is an all time favorite. Every time any of these songs are played live sends chills of excitement throughout my body. I love Marillion. The first five albums have in cassettes vinyl CD and reissued twice. I love everything ❤
By far best album ever..... God I miss everything 'bout the eighties...
Aaĝrrrrrr cc please!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤my fave albums d best!!!
Maravilla
i remember going to the record shop to buy my tape of this, so excited , oh happier days
"Take me away" indeed. Marillion does that better than an other band for me.
Incredible
ISSO AI . A MELHOR BANDA DO PLANETA. AMOOOOO !!
Eu tambem !!😊😊😊😊
WOW..!! Marillion the BEST!
Fantastico !!!
A truly great collection of songs from an amazing band. It all just gets better with age.
Mon groupe de cœur
What an amazing album❤
I bought Script for a Jester's Tear when it first released. Since then Marillion have been my favourite band, more so with Steve Hogarth on vocals.
One of my favourite albums of all time. The pinnacle was when I got the landlord of my local pub to put it in the sound system. I was in my element.
!!Que talentoso artista Hogarth !! Linda su remera !!
kudos to the cameraperson catching the ghostnotes. really captures the feel of the beginning of the song.
I saw them 3 months after they released CAS at the Hollywood Palladium in 87. The venue was packed to capacity and they were on fire playing this album. Truly one of my favorite nights ever.
What an album, absolutely love it.
Where does the time go. Keep up the good work
still listen to "straws" regularly, although think the transition of lead singers was great, because I love "brave".
After hearing Kayleigh and Lavender on the radio here in Norway in my mid-teens, I was mildly curious about the band when it came to the time I was going with my family on a car holiday all along the country. I was checking out the local record store for tapes to bring along for my walkman to combat the inevitable boredom of the hundreds and hundreds of miles awaiting us on the road. I came back out with two tapes - one that will forever remain unmentioned, and CaS.
Next day, the car was packed, and we set out. I popped CaS into the walkman, and ten minutes into it I swore I'd bin it first chance I got. It was NOT love at first listen at all, quite the contrary. Trouble was the other tape (and I only had the two) was utterly hideous, so having to choose one of two evils, CaS was allowed to keep on playing.
Yet slowly, and quite unexpected, it started growing on me. When I realised I had started applying the same kind of listening my teenage self had already spent hours doing with Mike Oldfield records - singling out an instrument and paying specific attention to it throughout the record, I knew I was hooked. Pete's playing completely rid me of the notion that the bass was just for keeping time - listening to his bass lines has been a joy ever since.
... and Ian's drumming - discrete, yet never absent - just the right touches everywhere. A tiny thing like the woodblock (I think) taps slightly past the minute in the start of "That Time of The Night" got so ingrained in my brain, I still hear them in every live recording of the song, although as far as I know, the record is the only place they're actually included.
2,500 km later, we were back home. First thing I did was to vacuum the record store for anything Marillion. CaS had made me a fan for life.
I miss Fish ❤
Play loud and lights of
E MT LINDO.
My fave album of all time. Perfection. I miss this band.
Waiting for the whistle to blow!! Fish was the best lyricist back in the good old days❤
I'm a Fish era fan, but, then again, I love H, both are sublime musicians, let's just enjoy them both :) x
i dont think theres many bands left who can perform a 30 yr old song and make it sound this good without rearranging or embelishing it.
Merci ! J'espère vous voir en Concert ❤ pas de Soux😢
Billy's old mill, I was there🙀
❤
Fish the real frontman from Marillion
❤🎉❤🎉
Was the singer in the band 'The Europeans'?
This band seems quite good
Yes. He was in "The Europeans".
This is cool as fuk!
Please upload the video of the Marillion songs
Slainte Mhath , Música Da Fase Do Ex Vocalista Fish e Muito Bem Interpretanda Pelo Vocalista Dos Tempos Atuais Steve Hogarth.
Wow...!!
You know when people say "the band were on fire"? I think this is what they mean.
Fish's best Marillion album.
I remember buying Clutching at Straws on cassette when it came out. I have no idea why as I had everything else on vinyl. Sadly it's one album I've never been able to connect with properly even to this day despite me listening to it probably once a month. Very weird.
Quem precisa do Fish tendo o vocalista Steve Hogarth.
To each his own; many people preferred Marillion with Fish. Personally, I’ve got nothing against Steve Hogarth but since Fish’s departure, I’ve lost interest in Marillion, even though the use to be one of my favorite band…
PETE. A god on bass. That is all.
this man needs to calm down... I just cant with this album without FISH :(
Da pena Steve, jamás vas a poder igualar o acercarte a fish mejor no las cantes haces q me encabrone
Disquistng
Steve his voice is fantastic!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
