Hello again. I commented on your 2nd vblog. Thanks for your reply. Well, what can I say about this series of vblogs. Absolutely fantastic. You have superb presentation skills. I liked your positivity and enthusiasm even when your day does not turn out to plan. You are showing cruising as it is really is eg pouring with rain and cancellation of the toboggan in Madiera and getting absolutely soaked and the fruitless walk in Aricefe Lanzarote to the micro brewery. I like the way you have shown your embarkation and disembarkation processes. Very impressed. You mentioned two things one is how quiet and empty the promenade deck was. I think that is because people have balconies and can look out but you had an inside so you had to get out. I hope you do try an AIDA cruise.. love to see a Brit's reaction of a cruise line designed for the German speaking market. Once again .. well done. I have subscribed. I am going to look back at your previous vblogs you are obviously very honest and truthfull about your experiences. Keep showing the food and menus. Cheers. Renato
Hi Renato, thanks a million for watching and commenting! Also, glad you noticed that I’m trying to show what cruising’s ‘really like’ - it’s not all glitz and glamour out there, is it? Ha! Glad you’re enjoying the channel - glad you’ve found me - welcome aboard!
Hey Fraser, another great video. We'll be on Azura in a couple of weeks and have found this series really useful. Keep up the excellent work and we hope to bump into you at some stage in the future! Ian & Allie 😊
Hi both, thanks so much - for watching and also for taking the time to comment. Agreed - hopefully our plans will align at some point - be great to meet you. Thanks for your support!
Another great vlog.. very interesting and well put together. The last day is always 😢 but a least you have another cruise to look forward to 😅 so until next time safe travels 😊
Great series of videos, very informative. I have booked a 2 week canaries cruise on Azura in November, going solo on my 1st ever cruise,so watched with great interest. I’m excited & nervous at the same time.😂🛳️
Hey Lizzie, thanks so much for tuning in and following along - really glad you enjoyed the series! Ah, don’t be nervous - you’ll have a ball! I remember being really anxious before my first one, but I loved it!
Great video, as always. Very informative, I’m flying out tomorrow for this cruise and was a bit concerned about disembarkation, I’ve only sailed from Southampton before, so now I know what to expect. Thank you. Looking forward to watching your New Years cruise. 🛳
Enjoyed this, thanks Fraser! Seems strange to have different days for new passengers. Does the crew like it that way? I've never gotten flights through the cruise line. I'm too much of a control freak.🤣 If I ever do Europe I would try it though.
It’s very different for the crew compared to other cruise lines, isn’t it? The thing that I do think it must impact is the ability to build rapport with some of the guests - I really enjoy when guests and crew get to know each other more as the cruise goes on - unusual to have new people almost every night!
I always hate the last afternoon evening , I love being on the cruise ship . Very jealous of your many cruises , our next one is not till August Sept 2025 as we are moving and couldn’t book anything and we also have an important wedding in July . What are your cruising plans for 2025 , wondered if you were back on Holland America ships we will be on the OOsterdam , smaller of their ships , would love to know more about the ship via your videos as we like your style of presentations .
Hey! Thanks a lot - really appreciate this! 2025 is currently ‘to be confirmed’. No Holland America plans yet, but some super exciting bits planned - just finalising the details! 😊
Thanks Fraser great series just s quick ask our flight back wont be till late afternoon are u allowed to stay on board till after lunch on disembark day thanks Dave&Kay
Hey guys, thanks for your comment! It’ll really surprise you how early you’ll leave despite a later flight - it’s about an hour down to the airport, so you’ll still leave late morning I’d imagine. However, if you’re on a fly cruise, I’d imagine you’ll be on much later than most with a late flight time :)
Good question - I guess it depends what you want. In my opinion, it’s more relaxing to fly and stay there, but there’s not a huge amount to do outside your resort - I love a cruise, so am maybe a little biased too…!!
Brilliant! Just binged the entire trip. It brought back so many memories and mirrored my experience on Azura as a solo traveller.
Thanks for sharing the fly cruise info . This will come handy when that happens for us.👍💖
You’re very welcome - thanks for watching!!
Wish you were there for 14 days, loved every minute watching your video adventures. Very good, keep them coming.
Thanks so much, Michael. Hope you’ll enjoy my new series - started last night - Virtuosa :)
Much enjoyed - liked the flow and info with all the sights and activities. Well done. c U on the next one -👍✅
Thanks Shawn!

@@FraserAtSea agreed! It's fun getting to know the crew. I'd think it would be a bit hectic.

46 👍 Greetings from Turkey
i watched it all
I became your new friend
I'm waiting for you too my friend
Thank you!
I have never been to the Canary Islands brother. Is it better to cruise or actually fly there and stay for some time.

@@FraserAtSea Sounds like a cruise and just do a good excursion then.
