Trona Pinnacles, California 4K

The Trona Pinnacles are an otherworldly geological feature located in Southern California. The area is managed by the Ridgecrest BLM Field Office. There is 1 Vault Toilet, but no water or garbage pickup, bring extra water and take your trash with you. If you plan a campfire, bring your own wood. there is no wood here to collect.
The 5 mile gravel/dirt road can be closed after a heavy winter's rain, and it is very washboarded. Any 2 wheel drive vehicle can get there, but make sure you have good tires.

I don't usually comment on utube much, but wanted to let you know I appreciate your videos. I tent camp a LOT (2 to 6 weeks at a time, multiple times a year) and am always looking for new places to camp, or new ways to get to familiar places. I'm a two lane road guy and stay off the 4 lane as much as possible. Your videos give me good ideas for overnights along the way as well as destinations. I live in Missouri and spend time in all the states you have covered as well as the Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and points west. Thanks again and keep up the good work, hope to see more!

We camped here for the night while on the way to death valley. Absolutely amazing at night. It is super windy and can get really cold really fast. Not for the beginner in my opinion, but worth checking out
