A HIGH POWERED FLASHLIGHT. A common scenario for night time delivery drivers: Imagine driving down a street you've never been down before, at night, and looking for a house number.... It's often impossible to see anything. Mailboxes are dark and porches are even darker. Your headlights point straight forward so you can see extremely little of the numbers of the houses on each side of you. Whip out your flashlight to illuminate the houses and find where you are find the numbers far more easily. No more night time eye strain, much quicker and safer too. A very cheap investment will come very much in handy and you'll be grateful when you brought yours along. NOTE: Your PHONE's flash light is only made for illuminating short distances and almost certainly WON'T WORK for this purpose. Highly recommend you look in to a nice cheap, portable, decently powered flashlight and put it somewhere you can grab and use it quickly and easily. Also better and safer for approaching strange houses or for getting better clarity of your path than a phone.
You damn right. Home Depot has a LARGE Husky "virtually indestructible" flashlight with 2 brightness lvls and an emergency flasher mode for $20. Makes a world of difference with those addresses, and it feels like a pretty decent self-defense implement as well lol.
What about small trash can bags so you can put the bags in when it is raining? Keeps the food from getting wet when you leave it at the door? Does it look unprofessional?
In my area half the restaurants put the cold drinks in the bags with hot food. You would think the food gets cold faster and you don't know if the drinks are leaking. I also hate picking up orders where there is no receipt or name on the bag. I just have to take their word and hope they didn't give me the wrong one since there is no way for me to verify it. I just bought my own tamper stickers because of a couple orders I picked up. The stickers they put on was down poorly that it just made it look like it was tampered with because the bag didn't actually get sealed.
Yes this is great! I know when I get orders from Starbucks they stick a cold drink in with hot food and it definitely made me think how stupid are they.. or they are just careless of the customer but they have saved me in the past so I give them a brake from time to time.. also one sealed bag came undone and I left it all open like a dummy.. bringing my own sticker is a great idea where do you get sealed stickers at

I’d like to see a picture of one and where you got it. I’m just starting and I got a storage tote that I can fit two door dash bags into so it doesn’t soak the seat but there’s no guarantee the drinks won’t still spill.

I bring a headlamp with me, easy access.. I had this trouble a few days ago, I had to call customer because my GPS sent me to wrong side of street..
