Aaaa I'm finally catching up on all the RUclips videos in my backlog and loved every minute of this video!! I'm so glad u loved these books! I actually contemplated recommending what my bones know since that was the best book I read in 2022 but didn't know if it would be weird to give u such a heavy book so I went with a "safer" option since house of hollow is a more light and easy read. I'm glad u still read what my bones know anyway though, it's SUCH a good book and im glad I'm not the only one who's a workaholic and juggling both a full-time job and RUclips 😭 hoping we can both manage it better and continue to heal in 2023!! Thanks for choosing me for such a fun experiment ❤️
Ahh makes so much sense!! thank you for having *taste* and for being a part of this video series 🫶🏾🫶🏾 hope we can heal and balance better this year as well 💓💓
this is such an interesting concept! i love that you're doing three things at once; getting personalized recommendations, choosing their favorites that you think you'd like, and following their lifestyle all together.
I also love love love that you're emulating the booktuber whose recommendation you're taking! I definitely think e-Books are underrated because I love to read lying straight down LOL
Oh my god im already LOVING this new series. Definitely excited for the next episode 😊 what my bones know is currently on my TBR list because it sounds like such a great book that with help me grow personally because the themes are definitely things I relate to unfortunately. Loved this
I LOVE videos like this! Please keep doing them because they are so fun to watch AND they provide more options of books that usually aren’t mainstream. Also, you intentionally not wearing make-up throughout the video really made your inner beauty glow! Multiple times I said aloud “Ok J, we 👏🏽 see 👏🏽 YOU!” 🤗
i have such high hopes for what my bones know, so im glad u enjoyed it! also, ill be picking up 'how to keep house while drowning' because it sounds so insightful even though i dont usually like self-help books.
I love this new series! I can’t wait to see what rec’s you get next! I haven’t read any of these books, but I’m definitely interested in giving them a try now!
When I heard Jananie say : “What’s going to happen to my books when I die?”, I felt that on a metaphysical level. My Safety Deposit Boxes will contain my books.
What my bones know has been on my tbr for a while now....this makes me even more excited to pick it up!! I also enjoyed the other 2 books you tried. 🙂 Another YA I think you might like is Anatomy of a love story. It's a historical fiction about a girl learning how to operate on the deceased.
All I can say is that I am really wishing you good luck with your reading and the best of luck with your reading these books 📚 love your Aussie friend John ❤❤
Also idk if you're ever read Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo, but it's a great YA novel about a Chinese American teen discovering her sexual orientation in Chinatown and North Beach neighborhoods of San Francisco in the 1950s. YA can be rough sometimes so I'm super glad you found one you enjoy!
ahh my two faves are collabing!! i’ve been wanting to read books #2 and #3 since i saw on cindy’s best of 2022 video, and your reviews just pushed them to the top of my TBR 🫡
'what my bones know' sounds really interesting to me, but I'm wondering if it is anything like 'the body keeps the score' cause I'm really not a fan of the idea of being able to psychoanalyze a person by merely looking at their body

Cool idea.
'what my bones know' sounds really interesting to me, but I'm wondering if it is anything like 'the body keeps the score' cause I'm really not a fan of the idea of being able to psychoanalyze a person by merely looking at their body
It's more of a memoir and hee talking about her experiences I would say!
@@thisstoryaintover ah, thanks for letting me know! 😊 very cool idea for a video series btw
Is she Indian? Because Janani is a very Indian name
Canadian - Sri Lankan Tamil
