The hotel reviews are so spot on. Whenever I see reviews mentioning musty smell or the room smelling I run a mile. Moldy places always smell and everybody notices it. Choose new hotels where possible. I wasn’t 100% sure if I wasn’t feeling well due to mold but after going on a holiday overseas staying at a brand new hotel, it made me realise it was my environment at home that’s causing me to feel unwell! I barely reacted to food I ate and I had so much more energy, no aches and pains during my whole holiday.
Thank you so much for this interview. I work with someone with CIRS and it’s a long road. Just a suggestion… Maybe Antibiotics aren’t the answer. Perhaps you need probiotics (from fermented foods) and I would suggest an herbalist who can give you something to get rid of mold colony in your sinus passages. My herbalist, Alan Tillotson, has an oil you put in your nose for chronic inflammation and infections. He says over 90% of sinus issues come from mild.
What if we have a little bit of mold (not a lot) in a bathroom? I see things like tilex mold remover, but I have no idea what we are supposed to do. We haven't noticed any actual mold symptoms at all, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I know a family that ended up with a massive mold problem in their house, and it wrecked their health. It wasn't that bad, though, until cleaners did a bad job cleaning the house and spread massive amounts of mold around the house. They had to move and basically buy all new ... everything.
Judy any thoughts on Sleep Apnea and CIRS? Several of the medical symptoms seem to match. The waking up at night to urinate (5-7 times), brain fog, always tired, naps during the day. I've been carnivore for two years. Would you consider doing a pod cast about the two subjects ? I've got your book and have followed your U tube and other work on social Media. Thanks for your work.
yes its common. many CIRS patients have some type of sleep issue that won't ever be helped by caps and stuff like that, id know becuase I already got my CIRS diagnosis and went through all the wasted time & money to try alternative methods. the waking up in the middle night is also very common with cirs too. my dad been doing that for like most of his life and im highly confident he also has cirs and other members of my family too
We got our ERMI/HERTSMI-2 test back today. Very high levels of Chaetomium globosum. We had water damage in our garage coming from a flat balcony/roof. We've stopped the water issue but there's a visual water stain on the sheetrock. The company that came out said it's probably not affecting our health because it's in the garage. I'm highly doubting his comment anymore. Plus the garage wall is next to our kitchen wall and sometimes I smell musty in the area. My daughter has had horrible nose bleeds for the past two years, ADHD, anxiety, skin issues. My son has anxiety, depression, ADHD, GI issues, OCD, ect. My husband and I have some of the same symptoms. Other areas we have mold are the water tubes in the basement for Air Exchange, AC, ect. Mold on our upstair's wood windows. Mold on the outside of our vinyl siding house. I'm struggling on what the next steps should be. I don't feel right leaving this house as is and selling. Then someone else will be exposed. I'm thinking on having my family tested for CIRS.
What a beautiful soul. I love how she brought up Josh and Ryan @theminimalists because I have found minimalism to be very helpful in my chronic health journey. I have most of the 20+ symptoms of CIRS. Anyway, dealing with less stuff and streamlining your life really helps you to get to the things that matter more so I would recommend it to anyone, whether they are sick or not. I feel like it has helped me to address my health problems because it frees up time to focus on how to get better. Not to mention all the money it saves by not buying junk I don't need! Supplements to address my nutritional deficiencies has helped and carnivore has helped more, but not 100% and IDK that I will be without exploring CIRS. I need to get back into the workforce first to have an income.
I love Judy and I'm sure there was some great information in this interview, but I'll never know. I could barely stand to listen to the first 5 minutes! I couldn't tolerate Olivia's extreme overuse of the word "like". It was ridiculous!

Hi Judy have you seen any of your clients get psoriatic arthritis after mold exposure? Mostly tendon pain in legs and elbows? Thank you 😊
Cleansing of infected house.

black mold is like high oxalate diet...just low ox diet would help a lot even w/o moving and spending ton of money on AC/fan systems

Not sure I can take 80 minutes of like
