Hi..I'm from the UK..never been to West Virginia but because of this song I've always wanted to visit.I would love to be in that stadium singing along with those wonderful fans! One day maybe.
Just curious, does this resonate with you bc of the singing traditions of the football clubs in the UK? And as a Mountaineer fan I hope you get the chance to visit Morgantown for a game day experience at some point.

But I've always loved this song anyway...the lyrics..Almost heaven..West Virginia...Blue Ridge Mountains..Shanandoah River..sounds idyllic.Hopefully when all travel restrictions are over I'll get the chance to visit.Morgantown sounds great!

If you have never been to the colosseum or Milan Puskar for a big game I strongly suggest you do what you can to change that. And with a big win singing Country Roads with Mountaineer nation is truly a magical experience! Letsss Goo!!
I'm from Czech Republic in middle of Europe, but man... it would be great place to live in comunity like this. Going outside on Sunday and singing bangers like this with thousands of people like one family it would be fuking awesome, touching and refreshing... In Europe, people are introverted, hateful to each other... I hate our comunity, i want people like this around me...
