In the middle of the beautiful Flevoland polder landscape, in the backyard of Amsterdam, an enchanting fairy tale can be found! Hans & Grietje Pannenkoekenhuis and play park is located in beautiful Zeewolde, right next to the Veluwe and easily accessible from the highway.

THERE WAS ONCE …
In 2005 the first Hans & Gretel house was created, located on the edge of the forest (opposite the current location). As the years passed, not only the number of guests grew, but also the restaurant. The pancake house was soon moved to its current location and expanded considerably, including a play park for the youngest visitors. Unfortunately, a large fire in July 2015 caused the entire restaurant to go up in flames. A big setback, but Hansel and Griet didn’t give up…
THE FAIRY TALE CONTINUES…
Construction of the current building began in 2016. A grand pancake restaurant, unique in design and decoration. It is not for nothing that our guests call Hans & Grietje “the most magical pancake house in the Netherlands”. By fully focusing on the experience and not just food, we have created a place where you really feel like you are in a fairytale. There is plenty to do for children in and around the restaurant. Parents know that children can play and discover in a safe way, so that they can enjoy a carefree day out.midst the beautiful Flevoland scenery, in the “backyard” of Amsterdam, you will find an enchanting fairy tale!
