The SFO airport is among the best in US. Liked this video a lot. The lovely view of golden gate bridge reminds me of the first landing at SFO around 2014. What a city, what a state,CA.
Btw, Cathay back then operated a 777-300ER from Hong Kong to SFO. I remember very well.

Live in the Bay Area, had the pleasure of taking off from SFO twice to go out east to Florida. That take off, and then landing back there after the trip is truly something else.
Excellent videos, and I've watched quite a few. Enjoy them all especially with the cockpit/tower conversations and the blips of the planes landing, on the ground and taking off. Also pointing out landmarks on the ground and less we forget the blips showing on the small screen and the indications of flying process screens in front of the pilots prior to and after departure. All I can say is MORE, MORE, MORE !!!

this might sound off but, it's not always manual after takeoff? can you please explain. i'm new to aviation.
@@marcuscavalier324 generally just after the positive rate and the gears up(after the takeoff) the pilots turns automatically the A/P(autopilot). Here we see that he manually climb with the plane and do a wonderful right turn with manual commands(which is not as easy as it looks with a b777) then he turns the A/P on after.

One of my best friends was working ATC at Aurora, Illinois about 35 years ago and they had a Japan Cargo that came through often on the way to the East Coast. There were communication difficulties with the pilot and co-pilot so they just cleared the airspace and let them come through every time they realized it was them.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 20 looks excellent!

I'm curious, the engine out briefing you did @ 8:53 about deciding where to go, is it Company procedure or is it the airport required?? I ask this because its not indicated in the charts as far as I know.

B777 will always have my like. Thanks again and a sugestion, can you record the TO from the passenger seat (1st or executive class)?A clip with cockpit and wings(flex wings)/engine view would be A+++ when routating or landing.
