There were two other defenders there who could have caught the United player but totally ignored by the referee. I’m convinced that most games at Old Trafford Ferguson influenced the referee to such a degree that they may well as be employed by United. Interestingly once Ferguson retired United have fallen back into the pack and are now miles behind the leading clubs in England. Cheats.
