Interesting to see. My Ameritron 811H was shipped by Fedex and had outer box damage. Inner box looked ok so I accepted it. Took photos. Amp never worked right. Blew fuses. Sent back to Ameritron. Waiting….

Nice to see the home of my AL-811 amplifier and those who built it!

Great video. Audio not so hot but got the gists of the conversations. Videos like these put faces on the products. I have complete confidence with these products and would like to buy one now. K6TJO

I turned up the volume. So it sounded like Tom was telling and the other guy was barely audible. But hams are used to listening to barely audible voice. Just bought the AL-811H 73 KF0ALT

These tours are really interesting! It could be made a bit better by having a mic for each person, lost much of the conversations of the person without a mic.

Wish someone would buy this company from MFJ.

You could have turned up the gain on that microphone, or put it closer to his mouth, or had him talk louder, or fitted him with a lavalier microphone with the audio adjusted to his mumbling. I would vote for the latter. Interesting tour, though. I'd like to go there some day. Ken W8ASA

Typical ham radio, distorted and too loud audio (at the end).
