His death seriously stopped the world. I remember me a 7 year old girl all the way in Denmark, hearing the news on the television, and my whole family gathered around the room, watching it, my aunt crying her eyes out because she was a huge fan. I still remember it clearly.

I remember hearing this on the news like it was yesterday. Time flies. I was sitting in my car at the Walgreens next to the supermarket I was working at. It was June of 2009. I think I actually cried. I grew up with Michael. He was a part of my childhood gone by. I was 33 when I heard the news. 33 felt old to me at the time but at 46 now I'd be ok to be back at 33 again.
And at 56 you would be ok to be 46!

i was somewhat too young to understand (i was born in the 90s) when the news came out but i rmbr my family watched the news and my sister cried. i recently attended the MJ tribute by Rodrigo Teaser in Singapore and went back to search how he died and it broke me. Watching how the media portrayed him and made such allegations was so unnecessary and uncalled for. Mental health wasnt really spoken about in those days and im sure he was already at his breaking point with a concert coming up and he didnt have much rest due to his rehearsals. Honestly very tragic.
I was 11 when he died and soon after a rumor came up that he's not dead, he's hiding from the world. I really wished that it was a truth! I know it's not but i stll wish how wonderful it would be if he suddenly appears again & goes like "I was not dead hehehe" :)
