yep, here i am still using kerr compound stick wax and zinc oxide eugenol and completely going nuts. it's nice to see that everything can be done in a more professional and modern manner, it's just a matter of affording the material I think. since i'm still a dental student, i still have time to buy this stuff lol
Omg. I bet they will fit perfect! Where are doctors like this? I watched my bus stand mother in law do dentures and all they did is the mold and that’s it! Noting like this was ever done. Do you know anyone in Los Angels area? Pasadena, CA?
Is there no wax spacer for the custom tray to give space for the light body?? Also no need of holes on tray to be made for extrusion of excess material??
We used tissue stops to help create space and provide better control of the thickness of the light body impression material. You can definitely use holes to help regulate/control the flow of the impression material. It’s not always necessary.

Awesome tips to use cheek retractors for tray insertion, and to clear excess from the palate during impression!
You can use heavy condensation silicon for functional border
Flawless demonstration. Thank you!
Thank you!

Isnt the material too much for wash impression?
What did you mark on patient's mouth ? where the movable tissue on soft palate starts or where the soft palate starts ?
Yes that is correct

Thank you
The yellow PVS is a heavy body consistency, and the reddish color material is an injectable consistency.

What did you put on the tray before the heavy body? Is it like a bonding so that the heavy body can stick to the tray?
Yes it's a PVS adhesive.
Kindly tell me the viscosity of tray and wash material pls??
GC Examix Heavy Body and Injection
What brand of PVS do you use? I am having trouble finding the right heavy body that doesn't slump back into the tray when I bored mold.
GC America Examix. It's setting time and curve are appropriate and comparable to a polyether material.
What are you using to mark the vibratum line with?
depends on where you are marking it. In the mouth you can use an indelible ink stick on the impression you can use a sharpie
What brand of PVS and what setting time (fast, regular, or slow) of PVS do you use? Thanks.
GC America Examix. 4 minute setting time.
@Meera Asokan It says heavy in the video..
