I was beyond fortunate to see him in concert twice this week; once in Greenwich RI and again in Rockport MA. (both shows were sold out). He sang Nights with as much feeling and power as ever. Needless to say he received a standing ovation (one of many). I will always be grateful for what Justin has given us. I hope he continues touring for many years to come.

It is the ultimate love song but also a song which brings sadness to your heart, particularly if your heart had been broken at one time or several times.. It grabs at my heart and brings the emotion out. He is the only one who can sing this song to cause one just to sit and listen to the sadness of these words. When I first heard this song, I immediately fell in love with the song and the voice behind the song, as no one in America knew what he looked like. It was the voice, the lyrics and the tune which caught and pulled everyone in.
I had to come back and listen to this recording again of such an emotional song, and it is one of THE best renditions of this song. The keys add so much to this song which includes the sound of the pipe as well as sounding as if there is a big orchestra behind him, contributing to this emotional song, which grabs one at the heart. As I sat mesmerized by the totality of this song, with the speakers cranked up, I thought anyone who has never heard this song now and in the future is really missing out on the emotion which comes to the surface hearing Justin sing "oh how I love you" with such feeling. This song brings out the emotion than any love song the Beatles ever made. I cannot even imagine Paul McCartney singing this song with such passion!
