So helpful! The curly issue I’ve NEVER seen anyone address is working out. How to pull it up, get sweaty, and refresh. My curls are long and thin so I end up in a bun 4 days a week.
Great video Chloe! I ordered your scrunchies yesterday and I look forward to getting them. Would your hair stylist let you video tape her cutting your hair?
This was very educating Chloe! 👍 1. Could you maybe record your stylist when she is cutting your hair next time? So she can explain how she’s doing it? 2.Would you consider filming how you used to style your hair before you changed that routine? Perhaps some of us are doing it that wrong way and can learn from you. 😊
It probably wasn't wrong, just didn't give the same results. Everybody's hair is different, you have to experiment with all the different ways or with what you want to try to figure out what's gonna give you results you love
Part 2 I would love to know what is the best collagen or vitamins to help improve hair growth and thickness. I'm post menopausal so I need to regain some of the thickness I've lost. Thank you for all your help Chloe. Love you
We have terribly hard water and I started using Malibu’s Hard Water Treatment in the dark bronze packets every once in a while - works like a dream to remove hard water buildup! Follow up with a good conditioner.
You're so right about not getting consistent results. I've noticed that since I started(which I'm pretty new to this). Which was upsetting the first time it happened(my curls looked exactly how I wanted them one time and the next they didn't really do much) but as I'm continuing my hair is showing more shape on later days(which really wasn't happening in the beginning, my hair would pretty much straighten by day 3)
Part 2! I followed your links & purchased the Maui Moisture Flaxseed Refresher Spray & the Loreal Elvive Micellar Shampoo! I have Maui Moisture shampoo & conditioner & I love it so I was excited when you recommended the refreshing spray. I also think Manes By Mel's 'seester' Amanda uses the Loreal Elvive Curl line. Recommended by 2 of my fav curlies so I will give it a try. I had been looking for a clarifying shampoo for a minute & had considered it anyways. Thanks for the tips, your curls are bomb girl!💣➿
Yes, part 2 please! Your so informative. I just started the curly girl method. Any help with products that won’t leave my hair feeling heavy would be helpful. I don’t like putting a lot of products in my hair. Should you always do a conditioner, hair mask and put a leave in conditioner in your hair at every wash?
My curls will NOT clump! My hair is fine, super dense and a 3C texture. I use the denman brush and finger coil but it’s hard to get clumps all the way to the root.
I would disagree with using a clarifying shampoo for hard water. I would recommend a chelating shampoo as they are specifically designed to remove mineral buildup which is different from product buildup. Manes by Mell has a few videos on mineral buildup and chelating shampoo recommendations
@@KathleenKC1 while there are definitely differences and I should have brought up a chelating shampoo as an option, many clarifying shampoos will do a great job with hard water build up as well 💕
For sure part 2! 🎀 Could you possibly answer this one also... when I wash and apply my leave-ins, I'll diffuse (which I'm still getting the hang of doing), it still takes a long time to even get 50% dry before work and I'll put it up in a bun while it dries throughout the day and I'll find little fuzzies in my hair that causes the tiny knots 😭🥺 I own satin scrunchies and use those a lot of the time now, but I'll still find the fuzzies. Any suggestions on what to do or why it's happening?? Much love to your channel !! 💖
PART 2!! Please more on frizz! I started CG this Summer -2 A -B-C hair. But this winter (lately especially) I get mainly frizzy hair and no curls-HELP!!!!
Part 2. Please, please, please address how to get your curly hair through the neck of warmer winter tops without stretching and frizzing your curls. When ever I put a hoodie on I loose my curls every time.
@@aleksandralempart8305 Thanks but I love strong hold gels and they don't always work. But I've recently seen a couple influencers recommend using sleep protection to keep my curls from getting stretched and frizzy.
AH Frizz is my battle! The back of my head (around the crown) is frizzy no matter what I do and I don't know what to add what to take away! I have low porosity hair and I feel like I am adding to much of something!
I have a few layers in my hair and it goes down to around my shoulders when it’s wet and I still don’t get any curl/wave definition at the roots. Honestly, I have half a mind to shave it all off and call it a day.
I adore you and learn so much from you however, I have wavy hair and I can never ever get more than one day out of my Curls/waves. I literally redo my hair every day😩 is that typical for wavy hair? I have heard that wavy is different than curly. Is there someone who can help the wavy people?
SwavyCurlyCourtney, RealLifeCurlyGirl, and Tabitha Gingrich here on RUclips are all wavy haired and Mane by Mell also does some wavy content with her wavy cousins. Hope this helps!
I would LOVE a deeper dive on frizz especially wet frizz. I’ve been on my journey for 4 years and I can’t get it under control. I try hard hold gels with lots of water and even deep condition religiously.. I’m not very good with denman brush or finger curling. I’m not coronated enough I guess.. 🤦🏻♀️ but any extra advice would be awesome! Thanks Chloe! ❤️
Part 2 please. 95% of the products you recommend have glycerin in the top four ingredients. Those just don't work for us living in Florida. Can you do a glycerin-free recommendation video? FYI, the "man" in Denman is pronounced like the man in woman. More of a /u/ than an /a/. 😉

Can you talk about your favorite product combos? Especially your favorite creams to use with the kinky curly custard
great video and so much great info. the wet frizz is a pain sometimes when you use a product that my hair does not like! lol
Great video Chloe! I ordered your scrunchies yesterday and I look forward to getting them.
Would your hair stylist let you video tape her cutting your hair?
Part 2
I started finger coiling few months ago and it made such a big difference!

Part 2! I seem to always get frizz after breaking the gel cast
New subscriber here!! You're amazing and so knowledgeable about curls!! Thank you for all your help!! ❤

oh and your MAKEUP IS GREAT TODAY!

I have hard water too and their hard water treatment saves my hair!

This worked great., the spray bottle of water!!!! tamed down the frizz and I could finger curl came out great ! thank you !
So happy to hear it worked for you! 💕

Hair mask once a week is usually enough unless your hair is really damaged
But yes, this is every wash routine plus stylers
Part 2!! Can you also one day discuss moisture overload?

Yes, you need a chelating shampoo to get rid of hard water buildup. Also you may need to use this on all your hair, not just your scalp.

Diffuse till 90% dry instead. My hair takes an hour to diffuse and such a hassle tbh
Your amazing Chloe thank you so much so much brilliant info my curls are soooo much better following your advice part 2 please 🙏 xx
Styling is key, I do get lazy sometimes and slack then regret it lol
PART 2!! Please more on frizz! I started CG this Summer -2 A -B-C hair. But this winter (lately especially) I get mainly frizzy hair and no curls-HELP!!!!
Amazing questions & answers, Chloe! I definitely learned some things.

Ohhhh that’s a really good topic!
Try strong hold gel
@@aleksandralempart8305 Thanks but I love strong hold gels and they don't always work. But I've recently seen a couple influencers recommend using sleep protection to keep my curls from getting stretched and frizzy.
Yes, definitely need a part 2!! Always learn so much from your videos!!
Part 2 for sure!!
Part II, please! Great tips Chloe! Will see you on Instagram! ❤️
Part 2. These tips are great.
Definitely part 2! 🙂

Same! I always have halo frizz even with lots.of water and product.
I have a few layers in my hair and it goes down to around my shoulders when it’s wet and I still don’t get any curl/wave definition at the roots. Honestly, I have half a mind to shave it all off and call it a day.
Depending on how heavy your hair is, you may benefit from more layers so your hair bounces up
Love all of your content here and on insta 💕, yes definitely a part 2 please Chloe

How to fix weighed down curls

That scrunchy looks so wide, is it a regular one, if not where do you find them?
They're linked below
Part 2 please!
My roots are not defined at all, i have maximum definition at the ends
I use satin, I wish people would realize the cruelty behind silk :( I stay away from silk. Satin gives our curls the same happy results :D
