I honestly think that Laurie caused the prison bus crash, I think that's why she was so distraught as the bus left. She knew what she was going to do and she knew she shouldn't, but she wanted to force the confrontation between them. Then afterwards she goes to the dinner and breaks down over what she did.
I will never not be infuriated by the father who got out of the truck with his son in the car. Sir, take you child home and call 911 from a diner or gas station. YOUR. SON. IS. IN. THE. CAR. What the hell
To be fair, we're watching this knowing it's a horror film and that things will undoubtedly go wrong. If I saw a bus crash, I probably would've assessed the situation first as well
I thought those podcasters who pretty much started all of this sucked, but after a little digging I found that this is what the majority UK journalism is like. And apparently lots of people from there think the same...David knew what he was doing there 😂
When my bestie and I went to go see this in theaters, the scene where the dude yelled "SAY SOMETHING" before the title card, my roommate sang "I'M GIVING UP ON YOU!" and I spat my soda all over the seat in front of me. Luckily only a few others were there so we didn't get it on any one else.
I enjoyed the Strode trilogy from start to finish. I even cried on Halloween Ends because I understood the point it was making: That PTSD/trauma is way WAY worse than Michael Myers can be. Loved your reactions, Sweeties!!
I liked the new installments. I agree with Wes; they don't work as a cohesive unit. 2018 was a solid addition. Kills is fun. Ends isnt my favorite but there are things I like about it. However, 78, 81, and 98 will always be my holy trinity.
Wonderful job as always, folks! Was so happy to see you both reviewing this & the rest of the DGG Halloween trilogy. Andi Matichak is inspired casting as Allison - each time I rewatch any of the DGG trilogy I’m reminded of this. Can’t wait to see your videos for KILLS and ENDS. ❤
Karen frustrated me a little bit. I wish she'd had a bit more compassion for her mom. I know it's a complicated situation but still. Laurie did all of that to make sure her daughter could defend herself against an attacker. She wouldn't be nearly helpless like Laurie was in 1978. Not just against Michael but any one who tried to hurt her. And of course it paid off in the end. Laurie might have been a little obsessive but she was kinda right to be.
We didn’t get to see the years in between. Laurie truly had to been messing up big time if the state had to take her and she lost custody permanently. Or at least never pursued it. I think Karen wishes her mother showed her a bit more compassion. You don’t build an entire house just for a trap and be a doomsdayer without having some quirks.
I think to a certain extent I understand why they wanted Laurie to let go of the past but they should’ve took into consideration Michael is alive and isn’t something that can be easy gotten over as if he were dead. However my certain extent understanding ended when Michael LITERALLY ESCAPED and they kicked Laurie out and ignored it.
Just a heads up that this Wednesday is National Chucky Day (yes, its a legitimate holiday approved by the U.S in celebration of all things Child's Play every Oct. 25 thats been around for a few years now). So spread the word and join us as we give thanks to that everyone's favorite "rude f***ing doll" as we also watch the Chucky mid-season finale
Would love to see you guys react to You’re Next if you haven’t seen it yet! Or even if you have, I would love to hear you comment on the mothering taking place in that movie!! 🎃🖤
is there a reason that you all do a lot of rewatch/commentary instead of first time reactions on the channel? Not complaining at all but just find it curious!
Just because we love talking about movies we adore and we want to share that love with our subscribers 🥰 we try to keep it an even mix the best we can!
The biggest problem with this movie is Laurie. It tries to act as if the other films are important, while only treating the first as canon. Laurie's too unhinged and Michael's too infamous when only the events of the first film happened. This movie tries to repeat Halloween H20, without what made that work, especially in regards to Laurie, her actions in H20 are believable for what happened to her, not so in this one.
This is one of the best HALLOWEEN movies out of the franchise. Halloween Kills movie just okay but I hate Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy his acting was so bad to me and the town hunt for Michael didn't work. And Halloween End I really didn't like they made Michael just a worn-out old man, Michael Myer is the embodiment of evil. The storyline was messed up they should have gone with Corey Cunningham the new ( Halloween Killer ) and he found a new Halloween mask to wear.
This is probably my favourite Halloween movie and I can get passed some of the stupid decisions characters make but there are 2 things I can’t which are when in the basement it shows there are wood planks as the kitchen floor but when up there it’s tiles and the second thing is when they are fighting Michael off before pushing him in the basement you can see a shot of Allison going to stab him before you see her pick up the knife
I loved this film... I did NOT like the doctor putting the mask on... And making Michael a stupid killing machine.... I have always seen him as a frighteningly intelligentsia Vons that also kind of has that “uncanny valley“ five as he is very much abnormal… And that his killing was some weird form of art in a weird way of courtesy just think back to the first film and how he decorated the bodies)
Thank you guys for this reaction. I've been asking and asking. You spilled all the TEA! 🫖🍵 This was the first Halloween movie I ever saw in a theater and I was in cloud 9 knowing that Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her role after 16 long years since Halloween: Resurrection (2002). And as soon as I saw Judy Greer being cast, it all just clicked. Halloween (2018) is my favorite sequel in the franchise. It's the best return to form for this franchise and almost just as good and scary as the original. 🔪🎃
Karen's "Gotcha" moment is my top favorite part of the entire trilogy
Honestly I was cheering on Michael so I hated Karen I was sooooo happy when she died at the end of Halloween kills
“Ready to roast his ass, Toast his ass… Ghost his ass” lmao
Maybe it’s Michael’s franchise but this is the Strode Trilogy!!!!! 💃🏻
"He's never brave enough to go to the front door though, you notice that? COWARD." 😂
Women get it done. We Stan the strode family. Couldn't have cast anyone better for the Daughter and Granddaughter of one of the og final girls.
The little kid who runs out the house is such a LEGEND

*WE ARE STRODE STRONG!!* 😂❤
I hate how allison kept saying "Grandmother." So formal lol 😂
I will never not be infuriated by the father who got out of the truck with his son in the car. Sir, take you child home and call 911 from a diner or gas station. YOUR. SON. IS. IN. THE. CAR. What the hell

I see all 3 as one complete film. They are favorite in the franchise and I've seen them all.

"Suprise b*tch, I thought you never seen the last of me" is a ki 😂😂😂
this trilogy could’ve been SO amazing but they fumbled hard. this is the only film in the franchise i like
I enjoyed the Strode trilogy from start to finish. I even cried on Halloween Ends because I understood the point it was making: That PTSD/trauma is way WAY worse than Michael Myers can be. Loved your reactions, Sweeties!!
There's nothing better than watching a movie with you guys. Your videos make my day
Easily my favorite movie in the franchise, Michael is terrifying, brutal and powerful. The Stroud girls slay. Looking forward to kills and Ends.🎃🔪
Lmfao Karen with her Christmas sweater 😂😂😂
My favorite Halloween sequel. 🎃 ❤️ #strodestrong

I love this trilogy. They’re all great. Halloween Kills being my favorite of the three.

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, (1988)
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, (1989)
Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers, (1995)

she was unhinged bro

That is just so awesome. Absolutely love chucky

We haven’t seen it and it is on our list!!! Definitely plan on watching it sooner than later! 💃🏻
Ooh, great choice!! So underrated
I so agree with them watching You're Next! One of my favorite movies, and there is much mothering in it.
Sharni Vinson is the final mother in that movie. No girls present.
*Think I was the only person who liked the podcasters and was kind of hoping we would see Corey in Kills or Ends because we didn't see him die.*
i love petty pumpkins, i ammmm a petty pumpkin i watch alll of their reactions because theyr the best x
Halloween Kills only gets better
Skipping Halloween 4 maybe the best sequel?
My take on why he left the baby alone was because they can't process the feeling of fear
That is a great take on it!! Love that!
Youve probably seen it, but you should react to the 90's adams family movies!
hilarious halloween [2018] film - reaction !!!!
How have you not watched Young Royals on here, it wipes the floor with HeartStoppers.

YES THE BEST HALLOWEEN REBOOT
I love the 2018 Halloween movie
As the biggest Michael fan, the franchise turned to trash. This trilogy im so thankful for no matter what those who don't understand think ❤
*Love this reaction. Halloween 2018 has to be one of my favorites along with H20. Love my some JLC, she is our Queen

U 2 funny!!
You guys should watch Butterfly Kisses 2018. It takes found footage to a new level...
Why are you not watching them all in order? You did the first 2 then you skipped a bunch.
Because we have seen them all before and can do whatever order we want ❤️
You guys have to react to rob zombie myers
Love Halloween(2018).

I really disliked this film, though the series is great.
Halloween 2018 should have been the end
The ending to Halloween Kills ruined it for me
And Halloween Ends was a turd
Thank you guys for this reaction. I've been asking and asking. You spilled all the TEA! 🫖🍵
