At 43:40, Abhijit is wrong. It is essential to build toilets and give cylinders to people who don't even have them. You have to fulfill basic needs before you move onto higher needs such as entertainment and education.
Yahi karte raho, 8 saal ka achievement, toilet
Now who is going to pay for toilets and this social welfare projects??? Before you distribute money you have to create money..
@@sannickdey6160 But there is already enough money in the budget to build the toilets. Adani and ambani are already creating the wealth. But you can't create wealth when people are too busy thinking where they can take a shit.
DK if it is true but Mother Theresa gave medicines to the poor to keep them barely alive so that when they near death she gives better medicine in some holy way to make them believe in Christianity and guess what it was a successful method of conversion. Similarly even BJP is playing *Hindu card* when they don't do a sh*t either on economy or hindutva. The point I want to make is *sirf toilets banwana se nahi thoda middle class aur economy creators(rich) par bhi focus kare nahi tho is tharah ke basic needs ka fulfil karne kaa Paisa nahi hoga hamare pass*
Abhijit how is your leg . I hope you get well soon
Lively debate but they underestimate the magnitude of the problems faced by the government.
like???did modi have worse probs than the elders that inherited a shambles in 1947???for once a party got a majority after a long time, prayers and hopes for a revival, knowing fully the bad events of 2002- we had no choice. then we also had good monsoons , world oil prices dropped, etc . all signs were in our favor - but everything was wasted in just months and the damage continues until now and we're paying for it.
It does not matter how many problems it faces. The government does not have willpower, period.
While both of them are smart in their own perspective fields of expertise and some valid points in this discussion. My observation is 2 things: 1) the discussion shld hve also had someone frm the ruling govt to debate with them on each of the points. 2) Anand and Abhijit shld hve started the discussion about the positive aspects of the central govt and then veered towards the shortcmings. But here, it all started with pessimism 1st frm Abhijit which he generally has in all his discussions. Anand is more objective. Abhijit started with the discussion with how India looks frm the western narrative. That cant be the most important point and the point to start the discussion with.
Also, it cant be that the central govt hasnt done anything good in these 8 yrs. Hearing this discussion, it almost seems like doomsday is around the corner when thats not the case. I'm all for constructive criticism of the central govt.
@@kushjindal2939 hahaa.....opposition failing is also the central govts problem? When i read that, uve destroyed the credibility of ure own arguement ureself.
@@kushjindal2939 u think the political situation anywhere in the world is good? Im frm the US , born there. We are far better off in terms of leadership here. India will be the fastest growing economy in the world. India is going to be least affected by recession. Do u think India is an easy country to govern? Most diverse country on earth. Politicians who dnt think for the country but their own pockets hve destroyed this country in the past. Watch what happens in the nxt 10-15 yrs to India. Its going to be on a rapid grwth trajectory provided there is a stable govt.
@@kushjindal2939 keep in mind, im not saying everything is great in India. But we are far better off than where we were.
@@kushjindal2939 Naa man , u gotta be more optimistic.
Atleast hire a good cameraman, because you people having AR

Come on. A government must work on the basis of unity. Criticism is during the formation of a policy, or when something is not working. Criticism must be kept private in the government and not in the public domain.
What is the logic behind it?
@@mefisto05s.20 do you really want me to lecture you? For example, study how the British or UK Parliament functions, and the role of conventions of the constitution (unwritten). If you truly disagree, you resign.
