20th UYD (2019): After Movie

Mollina (Spain) 15-22 September, 2019.
The University on Youth and Development (UYD) is an international and multilateral youth event facilitated and coordinated by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe in partnership with the Spanish Institute for Youth (INJUVE), the European Youth Forum (YFJ) and other international youth organisations and youth serving institutions.
The 20UYD edition counted with 11 parallel activities - promoted by different youth and youth-oriented organisations - gathering all together a total of 180 participants, coming from 52 different states from all over Europe, the Southern Mediterranean region and beyond.
The edition 2019 marked the 20th anniversary of the UYD and also this year gave to the opportunity to hundreds of representatives of youth associations, policy makers and international organizations to network, to share good practices and to explore the global youth agenda.
The annual focus of the year 2019 was Youth & Justice, providing a unique opportunity to reflect on young people’s access to justice as an integral element for more fair and sustainable development.
