I needed this I have been struggling with purchasing perfumes that I don’t need. I have so many my birthday was recently and I couldn’t stop myself from buying more. Saying these are my birthday presents to myself when Lord knows I didn’t need them. Thank you for this video and for being obedient to the Lord for putting this out. A lot of us need this.

Why are we so connected??? I have not even watched this video yet, however I have been feeling conviction regarding over consumption!!! That’s why I have been off of RUclips for so long!! Behind the scenes I have been decluttering my life!!!
One accord!!! I understand I had to stop watching a lot of fragrance content myself because I feel like that’s the biggest driver for overconsumption for me! Decluttering feels so good when it’s needed
I just looked up one day and said I have way too much so I've been giving stuff away and keep only the things I truly enjoy. No long keeping up with the Joneses. I have decluttered so much in the last month. And I'm happier for it. Now I won't I won't buy but, I will sleep on it like I have been for the last couple of weeks, and saving money.
I so understand!! I’ve been slowly decluttering as well and that is a blessing in itself because giving is such a love language.

I have been telling myself that I don’t need anything else from hair to body care. The most recent purchase I made was at VS for a body butter and mini fragrance mist that I paid $7.62 total for.
Everyone is going crazy over B&BW, …where there are other brands whose products are much better. I see certain sales but I DO NOT need to catch every sale; I DO NOT need to be on all the trends.

Amen! I have been praying to stop over buying on things I don’t need. I am also a giver so blessing others is not a problem for me. However I still don’t need to buy things that are not necessary when I already have enough. I have also declutterred some channels from my subscription list. Wishing us all the best as we move forward.

Thank you Lauren for this message! I've always loved perfumes, oils, etc. I just loved smelling good. However, I lost my sense of smell over 4 years ago...before VID. I know what my vibe was when I was able to smell, and purchase based on videos I've watched. My daughter always asks me why do you still buy perfumes and you're not able to smell them yourself? Very valid point she made. Now I'm decluttering and curating my collection and INVESTING in my Event Planning business. Smelling good will not enhance my future.
