I'm amazed that there are people that are still barely watching Band of Brothers, but I'm so glad you're watching it because EVERYONE should. Fantastic story based on the incredible experiences real people had told brilliantly with an amazing cast. So good.

Lt. Brewer, that got shot when he walked out ahead, apparently had a habit of doing that. Winters had told him before not to go too far out in front of his troops, but he didn't listen. Brewer rejoined E Company at the end of the war after he had recovered.
Yeah, if it's a unit wide citation, even if you weren't in the action, you're authorized to wear the ribbon. In fact, if you don't wear it, technically you would be out of uniform. So Cobb getting that guy to remove it was a chicken shit move.

Sitting at the right of Sgt. Talbot in the liberation of Eindhoven scene ( left on the screen) is one of the real Band of Brothers Babe Heffron.

The unit citation was indicated by a ribbon. Some ribbons do have a medal with it, but the medals are only worn with dress uniforms on special occasions or ceremonies.

Holland suffered greatly under German occupation. The scene where the boy never had chocolate was a passive reference of how the Germans stripped resources from Holland. The last year of the war the Germans were so bad that more civilians died from starvation and exposure to the elements than being killed by bombings or the Allied invasions.

"Quit looking at me like that! Am I alright??" Is one of my favorite moments. Between Winters and Nix, the care is there. Not bad for Nix, with bullet holes in his helmet, having never fired his weapon in combat.

Winters: "Never put yourself in a position to take from these men"
Buck: "Alright...I'll throw left handed then..." 🎯😂

Watch "A Bridge Too Far" it is far more in depth about Operation Market Garden. It is epic, still using actual equipment and amazing actors.

Everyone in the 101st Airborne regiment who was honored with the Presidential Unit Citation absolutely had the privilege to wear that campaign ribbon. Sgt Randleman should have told Private Miller to keep it on his uniform. No one had the right to say to any replacement "take it off, you because weren't there." Private Cobb is kind of a jerk.
