Short version: The U.S. Civil War saw 11 Southern states declare war on The Federal Government for their States' rights to own slaves as property, but after 4 years of fighting & over 600,000 deaths they lost & slaves were declared free full U.S. Citizens.
The thing at the end is related!!!! It's about the overarching story corrupting the Confederate side! It's important esp by the time u reach the final episode

Dude, that last part is literally the cornerstone (no foreshadowing at all...) for the conclusion of the whole series! And it's also a cinematic gem. Not watching it (and the "film part" in the final episode - in reality the whole thing is a film!) is like only reading half of a book.

Unfortunately Shei doesn't want people reacting to the final episode. He's specifically asked reaction channels to not do a video on it. And from what Vlogging Through History has mentioned, it seems to be because of the film aspect of it. Ryan's approach here is ideal, because at least we get the meat of the content that deals with history without antagonizing the original content creator. The background narrative is cool and all, but it isn't necessary to the actual history. And really, it isn't transformative content if he's just watching a movie.
Also, he can just watch those parts on his own time.
Ryan's reactions when he sees those comments are priceless, I'm here because of them. 😆

Atun-Shei Films didn't want people to react to the finally "for the first month". He wanted to see how the video would do by itself.

Wow so we're able to point out the person who's on the extreme side of the spectrum!!! Arguing about a comedic FILM like the writers/actors actually believe in these views .. did this guy just see the Confederate battle flag and the title and decide to wing it with Making this history lesson he wanted to give. Honestly im thinking if a "historian" would like to inform RUclips viewers on civil war politics, maybe just make a creative video of your own . Im sure you are highly intelligent when it comes to your historic knowledge. Make a video on how our parents and their friends who were raised in the south were taught stupid nonsense in these southern schools all because of the daughters of the Confederacy. These women in the 20s and 30s were responsible for the history curriculum that would be taught in southern schools.. that's why they like to say things like states rights lol. They dont know any better.. i always just refer the articles of secession each state gave the us government upon secession. It clearly points out slavery as the issue they were worried about. These women were also responsible for quite a few of the Confederate monuments spread across the country. Not all but they erected a lot.. but you just gave a history lesson over a COMEDIC FILM in which the creator shows absolutely amazing ability and talent!! I disagree with lots of fictional characters and their views-- I may make a historian reacts on Indiana Jones and the last crusade. Just watching you pause this and criticize it is absolutely cringe!!!
