Wait a minute, his hair looks great in the wine part of the video, does he mess up his hair intentionally?
yeah, lol
Ty, for this very informative video. Yes, it is true. Our paper dollar bills are actually 75% cotton, 25% linen. Many Americans don't know what our bills are made of!
I laughed when I learned about how counterfeiters were arrested during the Civil War in the Confederacy for making a copy of Confederate currency that was too well made
Now I want animals on our money, screw presidents give me there pets
I agree: just make them all have pictures of teddy Roosevelt’s pets. You would definitely have enough

Let's start with Teddy Roosevelt's pets.

Great video Mr Beat.
Thanks Devin!
This is one of my favorite channels
Who else thinks Mr. Beat is a legend?
I prefer Mr. Beat

You said Mr. Beast
I like both.
Hi mr Reagan
@@sirpillager27 hello Mr. Jackson.
All we need is Mr. Beat, The organic chemistry tutor, Kurzgesagt, English with Lucy, a recess and lunch to make a fully functioning school that more than one person likes
i’m so happy harriet tubman is going on the 20, she’s my favorite person in history. you’d think that after barely escaping slavery and reaching the north that’d be enough. no, her family was still in chains. okay but now that her family is free and she’s reunited with them- no. there were people still in bondage, people she didn’t even know. she selflessly risked her life nonstop. she didn’t rest until everyone was free. even after that, she continued to fight. then she dies in her nineties, in poverty, surrounded by her family, the kids of whom she freed. what a life, what a hero. she deserves this and so much more.
I can't wait to be a part of the millions of people that force the US treasury to have to spend millions replacing them because they are "defaced."
I think Mr. Beat should be on the $20 bill.
Heyo Mr.Beat I just wanna say thank you for always making such interesting and engaging content, every time I watch one of your videos it makes my day better. Keep at it, much appreciated.
- A fan of your channel
I appreciate that!
"A Mr. Beat a day, keeps the questions away"
I was disappointed to not see the Eisenhower dollar. Unless I blinked and missed it.
I forgot to show it, but I do own one!
Hi Mr. Beat! Could you please make a house tour video? Your channel is the best!
Mr Beat: Doesn't mention commemorative coins
*angry coin collector noises*
Seriously, great video, and the mint has slapped basically everyone on commemorative coins. Also, a Native American was on the Indian Head penny from 1859-1908 and Lady Liberty was on practically every denomination of coin in the 19th century. There have been plenty of women on American coins, they just aren't, uh, real.
Good points!
All bills used to be gold and silver certificates that could be cashed in for coins
It’s legal to photocopy US currency so long as it’s expanded in size 150% or more..
Or reduced to 65% or less.
for some reason this is my favorite video by mr. beat
Mr. Beat is also a big fricken deal in American history. 👍
2:24 love the hair.
Also, don't lie. You're here for a certain "ten dollar founding father".
Keep up the good work, and thanks for educating most of us 😁
Thanks Puneeth!
I got so excited when I realized that this was the same guy as The Beat Goes On.
I believe that if they were to ever replace Andrew Jackson, That it should be either a founding father that we haven't used yet, Or a former U.S. President. Kinda stick to the theme ya know.
Edit: I was surprised to find out how many founding fathers we have that nobody talks about.
Thaddeus Stevens the guy who pushed for the passing of the 13th,14th, and 15th ammendments would be a progressive option.

Physically, yes. Monetarily, no. Dollar coins are still being minted to this day, with Sacagawea on the obverse.
Ok supet
That’s what he meant… largest in physical size
@@SeanMacadelic Probably, but the wording was ambiguous and he didn't mention dollar coins until much later.
I think it's weird that they used a photograph for Harriet Tubman instead of a painting but everyone else got a painting.
Just makes that design stick out unnaturally.
I thought he just did that for the video, it that actually the design?

Paying for groceries with a $10,000 bill would be a great way to flex
Mr. Beast would totally do it
2:02 does this mean that Yellen could change Jackson to Tubman on the $20 bill? Or would she still require the support of Congress to do so?
Nope, she could totally do it on her own.
@@iammrbeat that’s a lot of power though?
@@jonathangasana not really, the power lies with Wall Street who’s shady decisions dictate what that bill is worth

8:04 the biggest bill my dad has ever had was this one
If I had a penny for every dollar I have, I'd have 1.01* the amount of money I currently have.
Nope. As soon as you accumulated 100 pennies you get an extra penny. So the formula is more complex.

Great video and some nice tips! This is a scary time for new investors but the best thing you can do is not to make decisions based on emotions. I remember in economics class a few months back, we were asked if we had seen a 2$ bill, and I wrote down and said "Jefferson" since most of the questions (it was grade level stuff on the first day for some reason despite being a far more mature audience) were about who was on what dollar bill
its basically an inside joke now
I think your show is the funniest and coolest.
A bit surprised that Fredrick Douglas has never been on American currency.
He'd be another good candidate to be on future currency
Hopefully when D.C. becomes a state, it will rightfully be renamed in his honor “Douglass Commonwealth”
He was actually on DC's National Park quarter in 2017.
I've never understood the need for Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln on more than one form of currency. Personally, I would like to see James Madison, James Monroe, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton take each of their places on at least one piece of currency. Maybe Madison on the Quarter, Monroe on the 5$, and Stanton on the Nickel
