You actually CAN obtain Manaphy. If I recall correctly, it's a secret mission in Pokémon Ranger. Once completed, you can send a Manaphy egg to your copy of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum.

Platinum! hell yes man. I started Pokemon games with 7 years when gen 1 came out. But gen 4 holds a special place in my heart because the year it came out i was already a teenager and other children in my street all got back to pokemon games that summer. We spent so much time with pearl and diamond! And I enjoyed that year for what it was. That hype worn off like 10months after release so I'm still thankful for the long time period everybody played those games. Big thanks to all those guys that made that summer so great. Nowadays, I'm a I like playing gen 4 from time to time. But I prefer platinum over diamond and pearl because it runs faster. thank you for this video!

Watching this video made me miss the times when I was still just a kid where my friends and I would usually play before class starts 😂 Good times. Pokemon has really made my childhood meaningful somehow.
READ HERE TO SEE WHY ARCEUS, DARKRAI, AND OTHERS WEREN'T FEATURED!!!! Because of the fact that many people here act like they are Pokemon fans but are asking "Where is this Pokémon?", you need to understand one thing. THEY ARE EVENT POKEMON. Who are these event Pokémon? They are Arceus, Darkrai, Shaymin, and (I'm not so sure on this one) Manaphy. You cannot get these pokemon unless you use action replay or hacks. They were out for a limited time, and now they are not. So please so bitching that these pokemon weren't featured in the video, because he probably couldn't get the event. Another example would be Celebi in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Celebi was an event in these games. It was the only way to catch one. I'm not so familiar with the other generations' legendaries, but I do know that you do need to unlock Pal Park to get at least Hoenn's legendaries. As seen in the video, it is possible to get the legendary birds, but I also believe you can get the beasts, but I'm not too sure. I doubt you could the rest of Johto's and Kanto's legendaries, without having to hack the game, because they weren't even events. Hell, I even did that, so now I have a toasty Lugia. :) So here's all the information I could provide. P.S. I believe Rotom is psuedo-legendary, but don't take me up on that.

Platinum was hands down the best pokemon game as far as campaign/playthrough goes. My favorite game is Black/White but Platinum is easily the best story. My opinion is for top 5: 1 Black 2 Platinum 3 Crystal 4 Blue 5 Heart Gold
HEY! They're missing Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus. To get Darkrai, you must go on Mystery Gift to obtain a Member's Card. You then must visit a Poke Mart to obtain this card. Once you do, you must enter the inn, go to sleep in the bed there, and you'll be transported to New Moon Island. THAT'S Where you'll find Darkrai. Darkrai will attack you at Level 50, a usual level for Legendary battles. To get Shaymin, follow the same Mystery Gift Process, but this time, it's to get Oak's Letter. Then you must visit a Poke Mart. There, you will meet Professor Oak from the Kanto region. He will give you the note, and tell you to go to Route 224. When you are at the northernmost part of the Route, you will see a white rock. That rock is actually a present for a person to note what they are thankful for, and on the inspection of the rock, you will be able to enter WHATEVER YOU WANT! After that has been done, Seabreak Path, the longest uninterrupted road in ALL of Pokemon, will appear and so will the Flower Paradise. Shaymin will be at said Paradise. You can get manaphy and pheony in pokemon platinum. To get manaphy you beat the original pokemon ranger game and that should give you a manaphy egg. (you have to trade it to your platinum) To get phoeny, you breed your manaphy with a ditto and hatch the egg.

The best way to catch legends is: 1. Lower HP as much as you can 2. Waste Turns and keep surviving (P.S don't kill them and keep your highest level pokemon safe) 3. Use Timer Ball

Remember, Regigigas has been resting their for who knows how long. Maybe it's strength has faded away with time and his muscles have atrophied a lot. But even considering that, it is kinda crazy thinking that a beast such as The Lord of the golems could get weak with time.

I know that the extra event legendary ones are over and done with a long time ago. But I finally got the codes for the event items and it works like a charm.
+Starlight Dash I used AR "Action Replay". Before it worked, I used the regular dsi and it didn't worked. But I tried the dsi xl and it worked. Maybe the xl is powerful enough to handle it. But make sure that the codes is accurate.

Also if u use ur super rod in that water right beside ur house u buy at the end (where I can buy furniture) you will find always a level 90 magickarp then use rare candy and it’s free almost level 100 gyrados

I know I'm five years late, but you actually DON'T need the national dex to get to the Diamond and Pearl box legendaries in platinum. I know this because I recently finished my regional dex in this game, and I already had Palkia and Dialga when I got my Feebas (on my second successful fishing attempt, mind you) to do it. As a matter of fact, I had them in my party when I caught Feebas. I also think that Dialga was leading my party when I got it. EDIT: Also, I'd like to recommend an alternative technique for getting Mesprit and Cresselia. If you go to Valley Windworks, you can go back and forth between there and Route 205. Be sure to keep an eye on that marking map Poketch app to see if the roaming legendary pops into one of those two areas at the same time you do. Repels are always your best friend in these situations, and you'll want to be packing a pokemon with Mean Look to keep the roamer from taking off on the first turn of the battle. I have found this technique to be highly effective in getting roamers in Diamond and Platinum (I'm still working my way through Pearl, just need to beat Maylene to continue my progress through the game).
I never knew how much content I was missing out on when I was playing this game. When I was actively playing as a kid, the only legendaries I knew about were Dialga, Giratina in altered form, and the Sinnoh Trio. My mind is fucking blown right now. I only had Diamond tho so that's probably why I didn't know most of them
First Pokemon game I've very played, damn it's been a long ass time. I've tired so many times to try to find arceus and darkrai not knowing they were from special events when diamond/pear were out back then.
Turnback cave is Lowkey terryfying. Imagine trying to retrace your steps to get out but the place has warped and changed and your stuck there forever in a never ending maze that constantly changes.

This was my favourite pokemon game and, in my opinion, the best. So many memories are with this game. I remember I had over 400 hours and I bought everything in the house you'd get when you finished the game, I remember the caves where you'd play with your friends and had a customizable cave... So many memories
You can get manaphy and pheony in pokemon platinum. To get manaphy you beat the original pokemon ranger game and that should give you a manaphy egg. (you have to trade it to your platinum) To get phoeny, you breed your manaphy with a ditto and hatch the egg.

The best way to catch legends is:
1. Lower HP as much as you can
2. Waste Turns and keep surviving (P.S don't kill them and keep your highest level pokemon safe)
3. Use Timer Ball

Espetron they dont appear for me and have the orbs any idea why? EDIT never mind just caught both them they were really fking easy to catch 2 for dialga in the red while burned and 1 for palkia very low yellow

Remember, Regigigas has been resting their for who knows how long. Maybe it's strength has faded away with time and his muscles have atrophied a lot. But even considering that, it is kinda crazy thinking that a beast such as The Lord of the golems could get weak with time.

for turnback cave, every time you enter a door, you enter a random room.You have to pass 3 pillar rooms before you go through 30 rooms total. In a pillar room, the sign on the pillar has 2 numbers, the top one being the number of pillars met, including the current one, and the bottom number being the total amount of rooms met, including the current room

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl was the first release and it was the frist experience for Pokemon company in the Ds , but after that they fixed a lot of things , the graphics are the better in Platinum.

+Starlight Dash I used AR "Action Replay". Before it worked, I used the regular dsi and it didn't worked. But I tried the dsi xl and it worked. Maybe the xl is powerful enough to handle it. But make sure that the codes is accurate.

Also if u use ur super rod in that water right beside ur house u buy at the end (where I can buy furniture) you will find always a level 90 magickarp then use rare candy and it’s free almost level 100 gyrados

I know I'm five years late, but you actually DON'T need the national dex to get to the Diamond and Pearl box legendaries in platinum. I know this because I recently finished my regional dex in this game, and I already had Palkia and Dialga when I got my Feebas (on my second successful fishing attempt, mind you) to do it. As a matter of fact, I had them in my party when I caught Feebas. I also think that Dialga was leading my party when I got it.
EDIT: Also, I'd like to recommend an alternative technique for getting Mesprit and Cresselia. If you go to Valley Windworks, you can go back and forth between there and Route 205. Be sure to keep an eye on that marking map Poketch app to see if the roaming legendary pops into one of those two areas at the same time you do. Repels are always your best friend in these situations, and you'll want to be packing a pokemon with Mean Look to keep the roamer from taking off on the first turn of the battle. I have found this technique to be highly effective in getting roamers in Diamond and Platinum (I'm still working my way through Pearl, just need to beat Maylene to continue my progress through the game).

I never knew how much content I was missing out on when I was playing this game. When I was actively playing as a kid, the only legendaries I knew about were Dialga, Giratina in altered form, and the Sinnoh Trio. My mind is fucking blown right now. I only had Diamond tho so that's probably why I didn't know most of them
