Also, motion controls on the nunchuck CAN be enabled, but you have to right click on the motion sensor buttons, which will open a window that allows you to select any input from any device. From there, you have to select the specific Joy Con (L) device and map the correct sensors. Dolphin button mapping is VERY powerful IF you know how to set it up properly
I've tried following your instructions but I can't seem to get the nunchuck motion working. If both joy-cons are connected, then Dolphin recognises them as one single unique controller and only shows the accelerometer for the right joy-con. In that right click window you mentioned I can select an option that says Input/0/Joy-Con (L), but there are no motion settings. If I connect only the left joy-con and map the accelerometer to the Extension Motion Input tab, all of that gets undone when I reconnect the right joy-con and they become one single device again. Do you have any idea what I could be missing or doing wrong? I feel like I've tried everything.

When I'm connecting Joy-Cons to macOS Monterey, Accelerometer and Gyroscope are not working. How Do I Fix That? 🏳
Upgrade to Ventura.
@@Andytizer After updating to Ventura it still doesn’t recognise Accelerometer and Gyroscope. No clue why.
@@Noukover Could be that the firmware of the JOYCONS themselves need to be updated? I don't have access to a switch so that's probably the reason why I'm having these issues if there was a way to update the firmware using a PC that would be awesome, but it doesn't seem like that's possible. Initially, my accelerator /gyroscope options we were being graphically shown on the GUI now that's not even being shown and neither am I getting any sort of motion detection.
