I have noticed differences between original key and new one. Specifically remote start and light buttons. I was wondering, what function does new key have?
I checked with my IM608 and if I select 'Smart keys learning (Guided)' from the menu, I have the 'Step 3: Read PIN code'. This step is missing in your tool. I would contact the Autel support.
@@NickDaTech no man I tried yesterday on a ghibli, mine too doesn't have "read key password" and it's updated. I have 2 identical im608 pro 2 updated and the other one has it. I asked support let's see what they respond.

SmartPro ( viel zu teuer für das was es kann. ) Lonsdor habe ich für Rover, 8E Chips. Da sind die wirklich gut. Die Pro Version war Preislich attraktiv aber noch nicht testen können, da gerade in der Bestellung. Ja, das ultimate Gerät gibt es definitiv nicht. Dabei denke ich an VW, hier nutze ich ein spezielles VW Tool zum cracken. Und dann kommt der Kunde: Warum ist das so teuer? 😀 Danke
Autel is slacking off on a few different vehicles, just the other day a 2022 Tahoe and it could not do it without a long number plus pin code and a simple xtool added the key without any password or autel log in 26 digits I think number. Autel invested millions on im608II but would be better off investing those millions on vehicle coverages. Really, what's the difference between the 2? Hardware only.. Anyway, I think it's a deal between the programmer manufacturers or i would just buy one tool that did it all and put the others out of business.
@SerhiiIvanov-vl8hs yes I did. It's the pin codes needed that it can't pull. First, you need a long pin code to access the system and have to call autel for it. That doesn't help when they are closed. Then you need the 4 pin code, which I can mostly get. So after hours, you can never add a key to a 2021 or newer Tahoe with autel even if you have the immobilizer pin code. Hopefully, autel will change that with an update. I almost forgot you can't disconnect from the car because that long digit access pin code from autel changes every time you try to log in. My tool is up to date and in subscription. Xtool took literally less than 15 minutes, and no pin or access code needed. Read immo data and add key successfully.

I have both. But trust more obdstar. Autel not possible, take obdstar and done. For example to old PSA and renault, fiat - only obdstar. My subscribe expired 2 years ago and still works every function.

I also have the "read pin code password " option in the control unit tab on my im508s. His autel im608 probably needs to be updated.

Did you connect additionally CAN FD adapter?

How ? My KM100 do not read PIN code... i check in 2017 2018 and 2019 models Maserati ?

I had a old Fiat Panda AKL, Autel fail... VVDI KTP fail... OBDStar done it in 5 min via OBD.
