This album is definitely one of my favs now. "I'd rather be with them" is the best song I've heard in a LONG time.
I love all of the minor chords that come out of nowhere :)

Just finished hearing this through, and holy SHIT is it powerful! Reminds me of the best parts of Amanda Palmer, Cat Power, St. Vincent, maybe Inara George, Sharon van Etten, and PJ Harvey? So much excellence!!!

this is a pretty flawless album - why was it so ignored?
Such a unique and fun sound that utilizes so many influences from different time periods... They somehow sound like daughters of a family line of genres doing their own thing with innovations of the past rather than copycats or products of an overly produced "marketed" tone.

This album makes me think about IKEA.
This album reminds me of when Discovery channel switched from airing shows like "Planet Earth" to shows like "Lobster Wars." I miss the lyrical subtlety from before. I guess I just can't get behind the tone of this album.
