Yeah, these little gadgets are a ton of fun to mess around with... and as you said, the Drum Synth is in fact a great sample source. 👍

Thank you very much for the demo!!! I bought both the Drum Synth and Metal, can't wait! Awesome musical ideas, btw!

Love that you fed those drum sounds into the PO-33, and with that tiny (and it looks super affordable) sequencer, it's almost like a budget DFAM. Great stuff and great video!

Thank you very much! 🙂 Yeah, it's a great sample source... just design a sound, sample it, and then arrange some sequences. Fun stuff. 👍
Yeah, the baby 8 + Drum Synth combo is really fun. You can get some pretty cool percussive Rhythms going.

Cool gear. It took you long enough to get to drum sounds. I guess I had better brush up on my soldering!

Great what your musicality can do to those! 👍🤖🖐
I built the 8step sequencer. Really great for the little money, but it's very tiny and not very "ergonomic". Helensson made a kit for the "synare" drum. Also a very fun kit that I did.

      Thanks, man! 😁
Yeah, it is really tiny! It is a perfect pair for my Bast Kastle synths. 👍 I heard they are working on a bigger version of the sequencer... so I'm very curious as to what it will look like and what kind of features it will offer.
You solder? I have been really interested in trying to learn. I would love to learn. Is it really difficult to learn?

@@littleBIGsynths from the dexterity you got with your synths you should not have any problem with that. Most important is a decent iron with good tin. There's an awesome tuto out There. Let me see if I can find it for you.

After more than 30years of solder practice I found out that there's still so much to improve. You always learn. Always.

Yeah, Knobs is a great channel! 👍🏻 This isn't my normal style... but I think it worked out for this video. 😊

This is a great sample video! I got myself the Baby8 and the APC and I'm having a blast with them! My question is, are you using the Electribe as a clock sync along with the fx? I'm trying to run a PO through the Baby8 but I'm not having any luck making it work.

  • @OttosTheName

If you don't tell us what FX were used how will we know how the gear sounds?

  • @cdbrown30

Some sounds remind me of malfunctioning machines like in the movies

How did you connect it with the keystep? I can get mine to work with my drum synth. I know you have to connect it with pitch and gate but it still won't read it.

    • @TooSlowTube
      @TooSlowTube 3 года назад

I'm not sure if you still need an answer, but you probably need to adjust the Gate settings, with the control centre software.
I don't own either of these, but there's a bit in the Keystep manual under "Cv/Gate Settings; Pitch Cv Output". You'd have to check the documentation for the Rakit to see what it needs.
