If you hadn’t noticed, I love sequencers, Quincas,
haha 😁 Someday I’d like to send you one of mine for review - interested?
This sounds great with your setup, too!

I can smell the solder from this video. I hope u were doing this stuff in a well ventilated area

I have one of the old revisions unbuilt in a box somewhere. I think some new function has been added. Great video!

I wanna build my own design based on the baby20 as well but my issue was I couldn’t figure out a good way of controlling the gate length on it. But you say this one has a gate adjustment. Is it per step or a global gate and would you mind maybe explaining how to create a variable gate length? I’ve been learning a lot from your videos and I have joined your patreon as my humble form of support

Hello, and thanks for joining my Patreon! YEah, this one has a global gate length control. The way to do it AFAIK is to use a 555 (clock chip) to generate a solid pulse or maybe an opamp comparator to set the duty cycle (pulse width) which is basically the same as gate length. Forrest Mim's famous old Radio Shack book on the 555 comes to mind, I think I saw a page on there about variable PW. If I have time to research this I'll try to do a video on it! Cheers

Synth Diy Guy yeah that one my only guess as to how to control the gate length is using a 555 in a single pulse mode. Then you can control the duration of that pulse but I guess that means to have a gate length per output you need a 555 on each output.

@@256k_ yeah, or have a triangular clock going into a comparator/opamp PWM circuit for the output, with a PWM knob per step

This one is in my todo list. One question, is the PCB eurorackable? What is the size?

Check Rakit website, apparently there is a way to convert it. As it is the jacks go sideways so it wouldn't be so simple to adapt.

Nice. Has anyone done a Euro conversion of this kit?

      Yes check the rakits website.
