Hilarious dialogue aside, I gotta admit, having looked David Amado Fernandez up, the MGS clones and RE clones seem to come from a place of legit passion. And in a market dominated by shit ad exploitation and gatcha bs I always admire mobile/android devs that seem to actually care about what they're making beyond just trying to make a quick buck. That's the kind of stuff I download even if I never touch it, just for the sake of rewarding genuine effort. Any free game with no ads or in app purchases deserves kudos.

There are a ton of good mobile games. They're just mostly either premium or obscure. I understand that the point of this segment is to show the worst of the worst, and I too find it entertaining to laugh at all the low-effort exploitative trash, but I just think it's important to keep in mind that not everyone making android games is in it to milk kids and gullible adults.
That MGS clone is actually from 2012-2013, i think. So it was before almost everything on Android became shitty gacha trash filled with ads. There are a lot of great gems from that time that are very hard to find nowadays.
