Yep!!! Sailor moon, totoro, spirited away, card captor sakura, my hero academia, kiki's delivery service, pokemon, pretty cure/pre cure, and little whitch academia! I love those shows and what you said matches me perfectly!! Tho (and its not like you could put EVERY anime in here lol! Im just saying this is you make a part two, or a tiktok part two if there are only a few shows left to talk about!) An anime ive recently been very into is a show called "the devil is a part timer". I feel i like it cuz i connected with demons because they're hated by society and i am too, so i came to empathize with them, and now i seek out content with wholesome demons in it! I also really loved the first season's humor cuz it was very realistic, yet fantasy. I need a little bit of fantasy in my every day just to get through life sometimes... oh, also, i don't think ive met one person in this fandom who actually likes season two, and doesn't literally want to slap and punt the stupid child, alis romis, into a garbage can.... she ruined the show and now ive gotten hooked on season one and now im stuck with whatever crap is going on in newer seasons... cuz season two was confusing and just bad... oh, also, i watched howls moving castle purely for the adorable, sassy, fire demon, calcifur!!! And i slightly want to get into demon slayer, but im too demon empathetic and would really hate to see demons getting killed. Nezuko is adorable, tho! Also, on these longer videos, do you think you could say the name of the show out loud first? The words are a little small, and i had to keep my eyes glued to the screen to know what was going on, and i often like to draw or cook while watching videos. If not, thats fine! Just a suggestion! (Also, maybe put some time stamps for people who just want to watch the ones they like! Please and thank you! :3)

My taste in anime is so diverse that a lot of the descriptions you gave contradicted each other (Evangelion and DBZ). There are descriptions you gave on shows I can't stand that fit almost too perfectly though (Yu Yu Hakusho). The best fits of ones I like are Made in Abyss and Black Clover.

I just watched the one about what your 100 childhood cartoon favorites say about you, and realized my life is weird (my husband and I watched about 45% of those together as adults). Now I have a pretty good idea about just how weird I am because I have watched about 65% of these anime series. It's no wonder I can't find very many live-action movies or series that I want to spend more than 3 episodes with. I just like watching artistic, line drawing versions of real life with lots of weirdness, sadness, sillyness, sexiness, and maho shojos thrown in.
I strung a few of these together (having several favorites) and rather than feel personally attacked, I am 100% validated. Not sure what that says about me...oh wait.

I feel extremely robbed of a proper description(fate) also Fate is connected its just really complex since it was based on a visual novel with different routes but "Zero" goes before "stay night" then theres lord el-meloi II's case files" that takes place after as well as "strange fake" and then theres the alternate versions of stay night and some just fun stuff like "todays menu for the emiya family" and "carnival". Theres also like "apocrypha", "Lost Encore", "Prisma Illya", and “Extra“ which I know next to nothing about time line wise. Finally theres Grand order which is its own thing.... I think.

I've read the visual novels for fate stay night, watched all the animes and played most of the games and can it can still be pretty confusing but the characters and thier ideals make the series an absolute master piece

I'm a bit older of a millenial. There are two ways to see this for me on my favorites. One is Noel's Fantastic Trip, but I technically didn't know it was an anime at the age of 5 and 6. The other, which I consider my official favorite, is Saint Seiya. Discovered that one about 25 years ago when I was 12.

My favorite is a tie between Death Note and Madoka Magica
I recommend watching "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!"/"Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai!"
I've read the visual novels for fate stay night, watched all the animes and played most of the games and can it can still be pretty confusing but the characters and thier ideals make the series an absolute master piece
My favorite (log horizon) wasn't here, but one of my first anime outside of "whatever is on tv" was (wolf's rain) and HEY. you're right, but hey!
That chainsaw man interpretation perfectly captured the difference in how my friend and i interpret the show. (Hes not a creep obv, but it hit his humor perfectly; meanwhile I barely registered the comedic elements)

I'm a bit older of a millenial. There are two ways to see this for me on my favorites. One is Noel's Fantastic Trip, but I technically didn't know it was an anime at the age of 5 and 6. The other, which I consider my official favorite, is Saint Seiya. Discovered that one about 25 years ago when I was 12.

Death Note! Yeah, I actually like it. Because, it’s not that long and it has zero fan service. Although, I did go through an emo phase AND I also did have a few crushes on toxic sad boys when I was in Junior High School.

The only ones I knew from this list was ATLA, Pokemon and yugioh lol. Not sure about pretty cure, it looks like glitter force, but I’m not sure if it actually is but just under a different name. Either that or I watched both at some point and they both just ended up blurring together in my mind 😅
Edit: looked it up. Pretty cure and glitter force are the same thing, but glitter force is the 4kids version on Netflix 😂

Also if anyone wants a cute fantasy with an overpowered but sweetly clueless mc, check out Wiseman’s Grandchild. Main character Shin is badass and adorable at the same time. It was canceled after season 1 so the ending does not do it justice but the rest is S tier.
