This isn't just about Nicki, but for ALL seasoned music artists. Why do you think everytime a new star is born, all the mega stars embrace and link up with them? We saw this before our eyes with Megan thee Stallion's rise to fame when she had everyone "driving the boat." Those of us who are old enough saw the same thing with Beyonce and Nicki. We also saw them bypass other stars who were once bigger than them. These stars HAVE to keep their names out there to stay relevant. Look at Keyshia Cole and Ashanti for instance: they had several hits for years and were once big stars, but failed keep up with the trends and crossover. Their audience grew tired of their sound. Beyonce is an icon and has mastered this skill with over 20 years in the industry. This isn't just about Nicki, but for ALL seasoned music artists. Why do you think everytime a new star is born, all the mega stars embrace and link up with them? We saw this before our eyes with Megan thee Stallion's rise to fame when she had everyone "driving the boat." Those of us who are old enough saw the same thing with Beyonce and Nicki. We also saw them bypass other stars who were once bigger than them. These stars HAVE to keep their names out there to stay relevant. Look at Keyshia Cole and Ashanti for instance: they had several hits for years and were once big stars, but failed keep up with the trends and crossover. Their audience grew tired of their sound. Beyonce is an icon and has mastered this skill with over 20 years in the industry. Although Nicki hasn't been in the game as long as Bey, she has proved herself to have longevity and is doing the same thing by staying up to date with the trends.
