The best goal of the best football tournament of the best summer of my life. The goals, the girls, the gigs, the mid-90s atmosphere of mad-for-it optimism... I remember when England beat Spain , I popped my head out the sunroof as we waited at the lights on London Road in Oxford and went 'waheeey!' to the White Horse pub crowd who had spilled out into the sunshine to celebrate. Even my mum (who's not normally a football fan) was high on the atmosphere and joined in, peeping the horn. The whole pub crowd erupted with joy. Epic times.

Germany was by far the best Team 1990. 1996 Germany was good but old and there were better Teams, italy dominated the min the group but couldnt score. England was 1996 way better but in the end, Germany had so much experience and Self belife. 2002 your Team was even worse, but somehow we made it to the final and with Ballack we mabye had won.

he's back playing football, but addiction I mean he had trauma, which was'nt his fault, kid he looked after ran in road, and stuff, trauma causes addiction, many footballers are maybe excercise addicts, like ronaldo's dad drank self to death, maradona, addict, george best, tyson fury, dunno. but yeah he's back playing soccer. which is inspiring. some people can drink one, or bet once in bookies, some it blocks emotions, and makes feel normal. dunno

scotland team of the 60s and of the 70s and early to mid 80s was a far stronger team. Dalgliesh, Jordan, Souness, Hansen, Miller - each player at least 40 million in the current transfer market. Scotland was bursting with world class players for 30 years up to that point.
