    my little sister plays games on that computer like paladins without having any external GPU.... the system has 4gb ram.... Can I upgrade that to 8 gb 3200Mhz corsair vengeance lpx and install gtx 1030 at the same time?

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад +2

      Yes you should be able to upgrade the video card and ram.
      Though you wont be able to get 3200Mhz vengeance lpx ram in that pc because it's DDR4 Ram.
      You will need to purchase DDR3 ram.
      Corsair do make vengeance ram in DDR3 though you may need to source it from 2nd hand markets but it still should be available to buy new still we believe.
      Just do a double check what ram you are currently running.
      If you have an early i5 like the one in the video it only runs on DDR3 later ones do run on DDR4
      Thanks for watching.

      You should be able to run GTA V.

      It may only get you about 30fps but maybe a little bit more with a bit of luck..

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад +1

      Yes you can.
      Though the Drives support for the integrated HD graphics from the CPU are not the best for API support. But if you have dedicated GPU this wont be a problem since the dedicated GPU will be the main card to do all the graphics.
      Other options such as upgrading the CPU will also change the integrated CPU. But usually a dedicated GPU is the way way better option by far.
      Thanks for watching.
      We hope this helps.

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад

      is that $25 usd or some other currency.
      I would probably try to find a i5 2400 or i5 2500 or even 3rd gen i5 go cheap like the 3470.
      the 2320 is alright, but $25 aus is a good price specially if it has free shipping.
      Second hand cpu are also pretty reliable.
      Generally if they sold from a working unit there is a very small chance that it will arrive faulty.
      The only thing to worry about if they have pins, which desktop Intel CPU's from the last 15 or so years don't have pins. Mainly if you go an AMD or a mobile cpu.
      We hope that helps your decision.
      Thanks for watching.

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад

      The i5 2320 is not a bad CPU and $25 is a fairly good price but you could find better if that price you quoted is in USD.
      See if you can find i5 3470, i5 3550, i5 2400 i5 2500. Slight better performance also sometimes end up about that price as well.
      But if you cant find any of the others cheaper or same price go for it.
      Also as a side note we have only every bought 1 CPU that was dead and it was marked as faulty in a bundle. Usually CPUs in our experience have the best chance of not being faulty since they are the only component apposed to a video card or motherboard.
      But if you need piece of mind $3 is not much to pay for some.
      Thanks for watching.
      We hope this helps.

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад

      @@gruumes9551 That should be a decent gaming rig.
      one day you can try upgrading the CPU in that.
      It really is fairly easy once you start.
      But building the courage up first can always be the hardest part.
      Also picking up a cheap system to build on the side for practice is always a great way to start.
      Thanks for watching.

    i have a i5 2320 and a gtx1650 and 8 gigas ram can i run cyberpunk 2077???

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  2 года назад +1

      Unfortunately we have not run Cyberpunk in some time now, so newer updates will probably vary the performance with hardware performance from when we last ran the game. Sometimes this is better sometime this is worse.
      Overall you should be able to run the game, but play-ability will probably be comprised at times with frame dips in our thoughts.
      So yes we think you should be able to run in it, but the game will most likely suffer stutters at times.
      Unfortunately we cant really give you a definitive answer with out giving it a real run ourselves with the exact hardware.
      Thanks for watching.

    its the same as my cpu specs but im planning to upgrade my board and ram can you recommend me a model? i dont want to buy another processor.

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  2 года назад

      So a couple of things,
      Firstly
      Do you know what you would like to spend?
      Now it is also worth mentioning that the I5 2320 is an older CPU, this CPU will only fit motherboards with the LGA 1155 socket. These motherboards are not really made brand new anymore, though I'm sure you can find some new old stock somewhere or purchase a brand new no-name Chinese motherboard for the LGA1155 socket from AliExpress.
      I would probably suggest that it might be worth looking on second-hand markets for a motherboard and CPU combo, You could get a newer i5 with a newer motherboard as a combo deal. A lot of people who upgrade tend to leave their CPU in the motherboard when they sell it.
      If you stay under 4th and 5th gen CPU's you won't need to change your DDR3 ram out and you can simply add it to your upgrade but you won't be able to have more than 4 sticks at max on your motherboard and some motherboards will only take 2 sticks of ram, so ram replacement maybe what needs to happen in that case anyway.
      Now the last thing that is worth thinking about is if you want brand new. Then you will need to replace the ram, CPU and motherbaord.
      Ram on a new motherboard is mainly DDR4 and also can be the new standard DDR5 (DDR5 is very expensive at the moment). For the price, I'd suggest sticking to DDR4.
      If this is what you are looking at,
      Then I would suggest getting a 10thgen i3 (these are 4 core 8 threaded CPUs, much like the early i7 CPUs from 1st gen to 6th gen) or 11thgen i5 with a B560 motherboard and picking up some DDR4 ram.
      Also if you can spend a bit more you could look at intel 12thgen. Otherwise, AMD CPU's and motherboards can be an option but I have generally found bang for buck at the moment is favouring intel setups for entry / mid-range systems.
      The other great thing with going new is that you will have some sort of warranty apposed 2nd hand parts, though some places will offer some sort of warranty on 2nd hand parts.
      I hope this helps,
      There is a bit of information here.
      Let me know what you would like to do,
      I would be happy to give you some clearer options and answer your questions.
      Thanks for watching.

    How would this run Minecraft and Ark survival if it even can

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад +1

      Both minecraft bedrock edition for windows 10 and java should run fine.
      Bedrock Edition (windows 10 edition. From Microsoft windows store) is by far better optimized and will give you the most performance. Bedrock will run fine on older systems like core 2 quads with a half decent video card.
      Ark survival on other hands is a much taller order.
      Though we have had very little time to play with ARK, it is a very hungry game.
      Your best bet would be to turn all details to as low as you can go and try to stick to low resolutions like 1280x720.
      We don't know if that would be enough but it's your best chance.
      According to minimum specs a PC like this is just under spec in CPU and GPU departments.
      We think you should be able to get something playable out of it but we cant guarantee it.
      Thanks for watching.

      It should run well.
      The only thing you might want upgrade down the track would be the gtx 650. This is one thing is going to hold you back in newer titles.
      You could also get an ssd drive for it as well if that 's not in there already. That will make a big difference in load times and how your operating systems feels.
      All in all should be a good system.
