Became a dad at 19, instinctively knew I needed to be at the side of my baby's mother at all times especially after she gave birth. The one mistake I made was being over worked and sleep deprived from a new job that I had gotten at the time. Please make sure ur making moves now with ur business that will set u up to be away from it when ur wife and new born will need u the most. Congratulations btw👊
NICK, HAPPY 2022!!! I got sick after getting caught in a rain storm during a recent run 🏃♂️ but after some antibiotics and rest, i'm healthy again AND READY TO GET THIS YEARS'S TRAINING STARTED!!!
Great motivation… word of advice from a endurance athlete now father. Don’t let your workouts interfere with family time. The first 4-6 months of having a baby is very difficult. Your wife will be tired and moody and you need to be there to help her. Whatever free time you have when your not at work needs to be at home. No shame in shelving the workouts for a few months. We will all understand
You don't need to be waking up with the sun to feel that power. You have 16 waking hours in every day: the power comes from knowing you used every one of them to their max potential! I've worked a number of jobs where I was going to sleep as the sun was coming up, but my head hit that pillow knowing that I had woken up in time to bike to work, bike home, do an honest day's work in between, etc., that's where the feeling of accomplishment comes from! Edit: later on in the video you nail it with “consistency”.
It blows my mind how big you are and how effortless you can run.. most of the time you either sacrifice size for running distance or Visa versa you can never have both 💪🏼
Wait till that beautiful baby is born my bro…. You can say goodbye to good sleep and “you” time for at least a few months lol. I was married a year before my wife and I had our son as well! Being married is still teaching me to be selfless… having our son, who is now 3, is teaching me how to live sacrificially and selfless at the same time. You will be an even better man than you already are my good sir 🙏🏽🙏🏽🤙🏽
