    I think this is the best review of this flashlight I've seen. Very complete, we can see the full potential of the P20iX, its limits too.
    Thank you, I subscribe to your channel. Keep it up 😉

    I've got the newly released Nitecore P23i coming in a couple of days. As much as I like the P20iX, it is more of a flooder when compared to the P23i which is more focused beam, longer reaching beam and also has more candela than the P20iX despite the P23i having 1000 lumens less at 3000 lumens. Two different flashlights aimed at two difference user preferences which is a good thing as it gives the customer more choice. Personally I prefer more longer reaching beam, rather than having more area lit up in front of me. Great review and very well covered.

    First of all, this is a very detailed review. Great job on that, Sir. Nitecore has come a long way in powerful flashlight in small compact size. One thing I found useful is the ability to be able to swap out the batteries, even with rechargeable units. This P20ix definitely fudge up on this aspect, but then again, it could be their marketing tactic. They come out with this for a while, and then make the P20ixs, which will allow us to change the batteries. Who knows *shrugs*. I work in a line of work where I need tactical size flashlights that will be carried on my person, so those big bulky search light will not be practical for me. These type of flashlights are good, but of course, sometimes my search can take up to and over an hour, so the ability to change out the batteries is on my top 3 important characteristics of my choice of flashlights. I have used many other Nitecore flashlights, and I can vouch that they are of high quality and reliable products. This specific model, not so much (at least to me).

    Hey man great review. Would you take Nitecore TM9K TAC or the Nitecore P20iX? Since with the p20ix you can have the turbo on for way longer then the TM9k tax. Since that one can only do the turbo for 7sec.

    Tip for owners, you have a "hidden" 3rd way to use the pocket clip at the cost of some scratches, the clip fits where the "nitecore P20ix" is printed, gives a much more deep carry

  • @Clipper_Damez

    I put the lanyard through the upper hole in the pocket clip attachment. There's a diagram from nitecore showing that's how to use it somewhere online, I saw it on a reddit thread. I was worried the clip would come off but it seems solid so far.

    • @nixonpowen
      @nixonpowen  3 года назад +1

      2xcr123 and 1x18650 sized almost the same but they manage to make a cr123 adaptor that doesn't fit normal 18650. That's why I said that they are trying so hard so we don't use any kind of batts other than their special battery that cost $30 each. ( idk if the cr123 adaptor can fit 2x16340 or 2xcr123a)

      @rinoceronte1 2 года назад

      Hell yeah. This thing is a little tank. Would not recommend hitting someone in the face with this unless to save your life. Will definitely break facial bones. They don’t mention it anywhere but this thing is a weapon. You can hit arms legs hands, hurts like a motherfucker. If an attacker comes at you, just keep hitting turbo button to blind them and strike fast and hard, then flash them again and hit again. You can continue doing this and they won’t be able to do shit.

    Nice review’ p20ix or p20i which one is batter or mh12s ?

    • @Lee-lb9qh
      @Lee-lb9qh 2 года назад +1

      They are not better they are different. The mh12s is more general purpose, it's small so better for everyday carry but still has tactical tail cap, the P20IX is pure tactical it is ready for self defense with all buttons on the rear and strobe ready button and it has 4 led and very short range (think of shotgun) for when people approach u, and the p20i is the same thing but instead of close range beam it's medium range, so it depends on what u want personally, they make all these different lights because not everybody is looking for the same thing

    • @Lee-lb9qh
      @Lee-lb9qh 2 года назад +1

      Also the lights with "mh" in the name means multi-task hybrid light, the one with a "p" is their precise series line, like specific lights like self defense or long range

    • @Lee-lb9qh
      @Lee-lb9qh 2 года назад +1

      For example you asked about the mh12s since it's their multi task hybrid series it uses a variety of batteries and has tailcap and side switch

      I see but I prefer no lanyard, I want to wrap this with paracord but doing so will sacrifice the pocket clip + no holster. but extra grip even if you use the light underwater or in the rain, the knurling on this light is awesome but it's not enough if u use it in heavy rain or underwater
